hehe! Thanks. You have a great rest of this day, too.Dad's here. My cousin passed away and we're going to the family visitation here shortly and then the memorial service tomorrow. (There are pics of my cousin on my profile page).
Whoops. I just remembered. I have to get the MapQuest driving directions for the place in Mesquite.
I'll see ya'll later on. It may be tomorrow? Not sure since Dad's gonna stay overnight and through Sunday.
Sounds like a marked improvement!
Excellent, and good luck!
...okay, that looks like the children's section...oh, what the heck, you know I like Dr. Suess anyway!
I haven't been here much for 2 reasons, 1) they gave me a bunch of work to do, and 2) someone is gone in another dept today so I've been over doing her work.
Hope we get caught up here soon! (...but don't hold your breath!)
Thank you OESY. Sorry I haven't been around to visit with y'all, but they keep giving me more work. Enjoy your evening!
Threaten to quit!......: )
I've been randomly wandering myself.
So I've been absent here and there myself!

SHE
She may be the face I can't forget, a trace of pleasure or regret,
may be my treasure or the price I have to pay.
She may be the song that summer sings, may be the chill that autumn brings
May be a hundred different things within the measure of a day.
She may be the beauty or the beast, may be the famine or the feast
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell.
She may be the mirror of my dreams, a smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem inside her shell.
She who always seems so happy in a crowd, whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one's allowed to see them when they cry.
She may be the love that cannot hope to last, may come to me from shadows of the past
That I'll remember till the day I die.
She may be the reason I survive, the why and wherefore I'm alive
The one I'll care for through the rough and ready years.
Me I'll take her laughter and her tears and make them all my souvenirs
For where she goes I've got to be the meaning of my life is she, she, she...
CHARLES AZNAVOUR
The Lady of Shalott.
On either side the river lie
Long fields of barley and of rye,
That clothe the wold and meet the sky;
And thro' the field the road runs by
To many-tower'd Camelot;
And up and down the people go,
Gazing where the lilies blow
Round an island there below,
The island of Shalott.
Willows whiten, aspens quiver,
Little breezes dusk and shiver
Thro' the wave that runs for ever
By the island in the river
Flowing down to Camelot.
Four gray walls, and four gray towers,
Overlook a space of flowers,
And the silent isle imbowers
The Lady of Shalott.
By the margin, willow veil'd,
Slide the heavy barges trail'd
By slow horses; and unhail'd
The shallop flitteth silken-sail'd
Skimming down to Camelot:
But who hath seen her wave her hand?
Or at the casement seen her stand?
Or is she known in all the land,
The Lady of Shalott?
Only reapers, reaping early
In among the bearded barley,
Hear a song that echoes cheerly
From the river winding clearly,
Down to tower'd Camelot:
And by the moon the reaper weary,
Piling sheaves in uplands airy,
Listening, whispers " 'Tis the fairy
Lady of Shalott."

That is beautiful, Marguerite. Charles Aznavour certainly writes beautiful words of love.
Thank you for sharing it.
Hope you are having a Terrific Thursday or a Fabulous Friday, whichever fits your time zone. :)
Very good.
I have a terrific April month, Amy.
I'm the happiest Punch on Earth, right now ;-)
LOL
That is great news. ;)
BTW, I Singh I, I don't think we have been introduced. I believe you made your first appearance here while I was in DC. But I have read some of your posts. You have a very interesting command of the English language. You are very funny. LOL!
MamaBear is pleased to make your acquaintance Mr. I Singh I. (Forgive me, I seem to be etiquette impaired......do I bow, or what?) ;-)
Thank IA for me for the A+ on my otter graphic this morning. And thank you, Amy, for always being so appreciative of others....especially ME. :-)
