thanks for welcome. My time at computer is hit /miss.

The Buzzard's return to Hinkley is only 20 miles away from me & I was to go today (on the way further south to meet up with WV & OH Freepers for lunch/chat)... but under the weather & so getting in lotsa Zzzzss & fighting off this bug.

No Amy, not cali for that cat.. I was just showing off Cali as someone had mentioned a patriotic cat... they can possibly photo shop Cali's scarf.

The "unnamed cat" ...it is cute... (do we know if it is a boy or girl?) - looks a little like the Cheshire cat in Alice in wonderland, doesn't it?. Is it the thread mascot? If so something maybe with alliteration with Amy?

Is poetry proficiency a MUST for being here? the stuff I have written over the years (and quite a few years back) was rather soulful...and more of an extension of journalizing during a low time in my life...

Cats!

Cats are such strange and curious things.
They jump about as if they've wings.
Gravity? What gravity?
A cat is a fluffy, meowing spring.

The world has such important things
Like yarn and thread and pieces of string,
Psychotic? What psychotic?
The invisible mice are scurrying!

Up in the air, the milk-tabs fling
Into the wall will kitty careen,
Accident? What accident?
It meant to do that, don't you know anything?

Catnip and fish, and wonderful things
Like beef and turkey, and fresh moth wings.
Hairball? What hairball?
Such is the price for being pristine!

Constantly, constantly, always unseen,
It's sharpening claws, a slicing machine.
Furniture? What furniture?
It's only doing what's in its genes.

Stealing the chair, like it owns the fool thing
Proudly posing so it can be seen.
Spoiled? What spoiled?
It's good to be king!

I don't think poetry profieciency is a must for being here. A lot of the stuff I make is far from perfect, but they still let me post it here, soooo *cough* :) .
