You flyboys had it all over me.
All I ever did was lean against the building which had the electronics for the rockets to shoot at airplanes, and watch you fellows zip along without a care in the world.
And it is NOT true that I had to slap some hands away from the firing switch!

Which university? My parents were professors who did life w/o parole at one of those!

so much for global warming... Haha, don't tell that to Al Gore.

Good evening, Deadhead!!
Hope your Tuesday was terrific. Snowy but terrific! :)
The weather was wonderful here yesterday and today. It is still 70 degrees. We should get into the 80's tomorrow or Thursday. I'm not looking forward to the 100+ temps that we will get in July and August. It's not global warming .... that is the norm for here.

WE had 40 acres and raised turkeys. Had wine grapes on the ranch my husband was raised. He and his bro were partners.
When we retired, we sold 20 acres and built a house on the other 20.
We have not done anything with the empty land because farm prices were so bad that it made no sense to spend a bunch of money putting in an ag well and pump.
Things are looking up for the farm economy so we have a neighbor who is going to lease our 20 and plant wine grapes.
Getting PG&E to commit to anything has been a nightmare!!! This has delayed our signing the lease agreement since we couldn't guarantee there would be water for irrigating.
The joys of farm life. :)

Hi Victoria! I hope you had a good day. :-)

I love the snow, but I am now ready for 70 and 80 degree weather. Want to get started on my flower garden :-)
LOL, 'global warming'....that was so funny when Al Gore was giving his speech about global warming, on one of the coldest winter days, as I remember.

It looks like this thread is going over 500 soon...and there are two days left for the thread!
To: deadhead
Silly Al Gore, lol. But what can you expect from the inventor of the internet.
I know what you mean about the cold and the snow. I'm ready for spring myself.
