So many young singers died in airplane crashes. I guess it was because they did so much hopping from city to city to meet perfomance dates.
I believe Bobby Darin was 37 when he died after surgery.

I believe Bobby Darin was 37 when he died after surgery. That's right. I was reading about him the other day. I think it was an article regarding Sandra Dee.
To: JustAmy; Victoria Delsoul
Darin died during heart surgery to repair a faulty heart valve on December 20, 1973.

The real problems are in Southern California. So many expensive homes are built on the side of a hill.
Record setting rainfall has created havoc.

I saw it! Thank you. The script is a nice touch.
I'm having a busy week, but I make it a point to try to enjoy everything I do.
That can be challenging sometimes, but it is rewarding always.

"In Time"
Written by Sarah P.
(aka 4mycountry)
My heart was so glad in an ignorant bliss,
To take up a pen, and product something - this:
A little sketch, to the best of my hand,
Though untidy and gray, it pleased me, and
I thought of my trade, the thing that I love;
Of boxes and pen-marks and paper, and of
How strong my desire it was to be great;
To be chosen and given the chance to create.
I looked to the sky and I asked God, "When?"
...And back came the answer, "In time."
Then I saw those above me, doing my trade,
better than me in every which way;
I tried so hard, but my efforts were dust,
Like metal dotted and streaked with rust.
Who was I, to contend with the greatest of men?
Who was I, who could not fully master a pen.
Not the way that they did it, so lovely and fair;
My small gray sketch could not even compare.
Surely, in their great souls burned the same
Undying, unceasing, ever-passionate flame.
My heart sank in sorrow; my eyes filled with tears.
Could I ever be great? Could I challenge my peers?
I looked to the sky and asked God, "When?"
...And back came the answer, "In time."
And I sat down one more, my heart on fire;
I sweated and fretted hour after hour,
Driving my pen to the edge of it's life,
to make something worthy and good and right;
And after I wiped the sweat from my eyes:
A sketch that pleased my heart, a surprise!
And It walks with the great men, at long, long last.
It is accepted; a former outcast.
I looked to the sky and asked God, "When?
I though I could not do these things with a pen."
...And back came the answer, "Twas time."

It's late, and spelling errors are everywhere. ;)
Line 27: it's = its
Lines 41-42 should be in past tense, "It" in line 41 shouldn't be capitalized.
My third (aka final) draft turned out to be my second! ^_^ Whoopsies.

I'm enjoying playing with these different fonts. If you do not have the font, you won't know that I'm playing. :)
This font is Bridgnorth. What do you think of this one?

Sing Of Your Love
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever. -Psalm 89:1
I was driving to work and listening to a local Christian radio station. Amid the usual morning banter came the song "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever."
I have no idea what came over me. As soon as this uplifting praise song began, I felt tears running down my face. There I was, almost at work, and I could hardly see to drive because of a song. What was going on?
I sat in my car after I arrived at my destination, trying to figure it out. Then it struck me. The song reminded me that while another day of normal activity was beginning here on earth, my daughter Melissa was fulfilling the ultimate hope of that song in heaven. I pictured her brightly singing of God's love-getting a head start on the rest of us in that forever song. It was a bittersweet moment of understanding Melissa's joy while being reminded again of our sadness in not having her with us.
Much of life is like that. Joys and sorrows intermingle-making reminders of God's glory so vital. We need those glimpses of a promising praise-filled future in our Savior's presence. In the sadnesses of life, we need the anticipation of joy-the joy that comes from singing of God's love and enjoying His presence forever. -Dave Branon
The saints of all ages in heaven sing praise
With voices and harps to the Ancient of Days;
No music on earth with that sound can compare,
Yet in that vast chorus our voices will share. -D. De Haan
Those who know Christ now will sing His praises forever.

Friends Forever
~Unknown~
Written with a pen
Sealed with a kiss
If you are my friend,
Please answer this:
Are we friends or are we not?
You told me once, but I forgot.
So tell me now and tell me true,
So I can say, I am here for you.
Of all the friends I've ever met,
You're the one I won't forget.
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to Heaven
And wait for you.
