I Got Plenty Of Nothing
I got plenty of nothing
And nothing's plenty for me
I got no car - got no mule
I got no misery
Folks with plenty of plenty
They've got a lock on the door
Afraid somebody's gonna rob 'em
While there out (a) making more - what for
I got no lock on the door - that's no way to be
They can steal the rug from the floor - that's OK with me
Cause the things that I prize - like the stars in the skies - are all free
I got plenty of nothing
And nothing's plenty for me
I got my gal - got my song
(I) Got heaven the whole day long

More Nothing
I was born with nothing,
I still have most of it.
Whenever it gets low,
I still do have a bit.
There's a lot of nothing,
Trapped between my ears.
Seems I can't give it away,
Though I have tried for years.
So if you find you need some,
Please just give me a call.
I won't just share my nothing,
I'll let you have it all.

That is an old song .... I looked for an audio file but couldn't find one. I found the lyrics but did not find the author. I'll do a little more checking.
If I find the audio file, I'll post it.

Nothing
Apropos of nothing, I have nothing to say,
Nothing comes to mind about this word today.
What are you thinking? He was asked, Nothing. He replied.
And thus invented zero. Nothing new for numbers is implied.
Ive been collecting lots of it. It isnt hard to find,
And if you take a portion no one ever seems to mind.
Somewhere inside in my pocket there is a good supply.
And sometimes when I shed a tear theres nothing in my eye.
In my refridgerator, theres even more to see,
Of dietary nothingness, in great variety.
I have low-calory, and zero carbohydrate,
And even empty bottles in a partly filled milk-crate.
The emptiness is rampant in the furnishings in here,
This small apartment seems so drab that nothing gives it cheer.
Nothing should convince you that I always wear a frown,
I wouldnt want to let you think that nothing gets me down.
Nothing like a friendship to disrupt your daily thought,
And nothing of emotion comes to make you more distraught.
Nothing for companionship to while away the hours,
And nothing in the vase that I have set aside for flowers.
Nothing on the telly, and nothing here to read,
Nothing can distract me, so imaginations freed.
Relaxing here this evening, and trying to unwind,
Just sitting here so quietly with nothing on my mind.

Ahh, Sinatra - cool. I appreciate you looking for it, but no hurry :) If you don't find it, that's cool. I enjoyed reading it.

Absolutely nothing
Dinosaurs . . .
They're very, very dead, you know.
They died a zillion years ago. . . .
But whether they're alive or dead,
there's one that hides beneath my bed.
His teeth are huge. He has big scales.
His toenails are as sharp as nails.
I hear him breathe. I hear him snore.
I hear him gnash his teeth and roar.
My mother says, "Look here, my dear,
there's absolutely nothing here!"
He's getting very hungry now. . . .
He'll have to get a meal somehow.
My father says, "There's nothing there.
There's absolutely nothing there!"
But in the morning they will see
absolutely nothing
left of me!

Hope you're having a nice day, Amy.
Be back later. :-)

I Got Plenty Of Nothing

WOW .... looks like I left for a few minutes and didn't get back for over an hour.
We've been doing some pre-school homework.
It bugged me that I could not find an MP3 file for that song. I finally quit looking.
According to TulipTree, tomorrow is another nothing day.
