Good afternoon, Tulip.

I'm having a very nice Sunday. I should be here for awhile this evening.

If I need to step out, I will be right back; I have clothes in the dryer.

It is great that Winston is starting to eat. It sounds like he was pouting. :)

I know, and you're so sweet, not like these demanding males.

However, life wouldn't be the same without them. We need them, LOL.

LOL! That's true. We do need them. ;-)

I could have used a man to deal with my mouse problem. But I think I did okay with it. LOL!

I think he was pouting too. He just needed to get used to his new home.

Have a good time!

I can't go because the short periods of time I can take vacation days don't synchronice well.

Try some Ball-hopping to find the best food, drink and dancing for an evening or two.

Don't forget to get some pictures of outdoor wackos! This is important!

Now that I have everything ready for the first day of class and Winston is fed, I'm going to go get some dinner. I'll be back in a little while.

"I could have used a man to deal with my mouse problem. "

I know a fat, bored, lazy cat that has nothing better to do:)

Nothing

Apropos of nothing, I have nothing to say,
Nothing comes to mind about this word today.
“What are you thinking?” He was asked, “Nothing.” He replied.
And thus invented zero. Nothing new for numbers is implied.

I’ve been collecting lots of it. It isn’t hard to find,
And if you take a portion no one ever seems to mind.
Somewhere inside in my pocket there is a good supply.
And sometimes when I shed a tear there’s nothing in my eye.

In my refrigerator, there’s even more to see,
Of dietary nothingness, in great variety.
I have low-calory, and zero carbohydrate,
And even empty bottles in a partly filled milk-crate.

The emptiness is rampant in the furnishings in here,
This small apartment seems so drab that nothing gives it cheer.
Nothing should convince you that I always wear a frown,
I wouldn’t want to let you think that nothing gets me down.

Nothing like a friendship to disrupt your daily thought,
And nothing of emotion comes to make you more distraught.
Nothing for companionship to while away the hours,
And nothing in the vase that I have set aside for flowers.

Nothing on the telly, and nothing here to read,
Nothing can distract me, so imagination’s freed.
Relaxing here this evening, and trying to unwind,
Just sitting here so quietly with nothing on my mind.

Nothing to Wear

She organized the closet,
And threw out all my stuff.
She said she needed lots more room,
And that I had enough.

I had to compromise a bit,
With all the nothing there.
My costume thus became a hit,
For I was wearing air!

I've heard them say "dress for success,"
I know what that's about.
It was my favorite way to dress,
Until I wore it out!

LOL

I'm not planning to Ball Hop. I think we will have lots of fun at the FreeRepublic functions.

I will try to get a couple of pics of some weirdos, tho.

More Nothing

I was born with nothing,
I still have most of it.
Whenever it gets low,
I still do have a bit.
There's a lot of nothing,
Trapped between my ears.
Seems I can't give it away,
Though I have tried for years.
So if you find you need some,
Please just give me a call.
I won't just share my nothing,
I'll let you have it all.
