Thank you. :-)
I like your new one too!
Thanks.
I'm working on what I'm going to say on the first day of class. I think I've figured out everything I need to cover. LOL!
There are a lot of good looking places in the Valley to create a set out of. You see those white film trucks and star's quarter's trucks parked somewhere very often. I met some stars shopping at Westfield Mall. They intentionally dress down to look inconspicuous in order to do routine things.
Good for you. Are you looking forward to going back?
I was. Now I wish I had a few more days to finish everything. LOL!
Neat. Now Jackie Chan comes to Calgary to do his movies. It's probably cheaper and nice, too.
LOL, I don't blame you.
Do you know which film was done in Calgary? It's probabaly not much cheaper. Studios must cut checks to the people that own the propery they temporarily use.
I know about Shanghai Knights, but there are few more I can't remember right now. Clint Eastwood has also filmed in Calgary, and quite a few other stars like Sam Elliott.
I've been having trouble posting today.
This thing is so slow, it times out everytime I try to open a new window.
Hope this one works. :)
Hi Amy. Hope you're having a nice Sunday.
I knew somebody that ran into Clint Eastwood before he moved to Carmel. Sunglasses, jeans, boots, no shave for a few days. It didn't work. He is one actor that can't camouflage himself. You just know who he is.
I love Eastwood, he is a fine actor and director. He made "Unforgiven" in Calgary. And Kevin Costner made "Open Range just to mention a few. There are many more movies made in Calgary.
I should say, made in Alberta.
I saw 'Unforgiven'. The landscape in Alberta is a continuation of the midwest US. It should be part of the US. What do you think? You can sell us your northern minerals and we can send big, rugged men there to frighten liberals away:)
I'm having a lovely Sunday.
Of course, I'm busy. For some reason Marissa is demanding attention, probably because I'm keyed up. I've finally finished everything that I was working on for FReeRepublic. Whewwww.
I've been trying to get everything in order here before I leave. Need to make sure the laundry in finished. Would hate for hubby to run out of clean socks. I won't need to worry about food; he is a better cook than I am. :)
I still need to pay all of my bills and put them out so hubby can get them in the mail.
It is great to see that you and Tuliptree have been helping to keep the thread alive.
How is you Sunday? Are you getting to relax before going back to work on Tuesday?
I wouldn't mind one for myself though.
I'm around to keep the thread alive also. It's quiet and sunny here. I will be here for some time, until my list of other things to do becomes beckoning:)
