Hon, we who need the construction industry to feed our family, pay for our children's education, put a roof over our heads, really, really, wish the stupid ELF's would find another way to get their message across.
Spiking trees to kill lumberjacks, torching construction sites to give the insurance companies more money, burning SUV's in a parking lot creating ten times as much pollution in one nite, than all those SUV's would have produced in their useable life, is a stupid way to make a point.
Say, you got a boyfriend?

Just got thru reading this thread...what was the basis of the Zot? A vanity, true, but it has to be more than that. Will all posters suggesting we clean up our environment be Zotted? Or was "LoveTheWorld" a repeat offender of some sort?

I agree. She was not a "troll" as some were stating.
I do not understand how that determination is made. She was quite reasonable.
It would serve all better to talk about these things when kept civil.

Yes, I saw your post #36, and I think it is possible to be very conservative politically and still have an interest in "conservation". Without being an "enviro-wacko"! Things like this from my local newspaper do concern me, and issues like this should concern us all.

One of the "alternatives" suggested by enviros is wind power. But unfortunately we find that wind farms damage the environment Not really, They just take up a lot of space in areas it turns out the envrios like to look at (sans turbines).
