Don't tell anyone but I goofed off today.
My son was here so I took a nap while he entertained Marissa. He washed his car and she rode her tricycle. She cannot play in the front yard unless there is someone there to watch her. Hubby played golf.

Celebrate National Poinsettia Day
December 12
This date marks the death of Joel Roberts Poinsett,
who is credited with introducing the
native Mexican plant to the United States.
The purpose of the day is to enjoy
the beauty of this popular holiday plant!
Happy Poinsettia Day!!

Thank you for the info, OESY.
There are so many beautiful poinsettia pictures, it has been difficult to choose.

Thanks for the info, Oesy. Nice story about the green leaves turning into bright red petals surrounded by star-like flowers; I like it. :-)

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the graphic. I love it.
Hope you're having a wonderful evening.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Evening has been kinda quiet. I had a very relaxing day.
It is almost bath and story time so I will be gone for a little while. Hope to make it back before everyone says goodnight. :)

Thanks for Bing Crosby's White Christmas, Amy. I love that song.

Hi AC. I forgot about hockey... man, oh man, aren't those guys on strike or something for the rest of the year?
To: Victoria Delsoul
Yes, they've been locked out in a labor dispute. I usually don't get into pro hockey until right after the New Year, but this year I've been itching to watch at least SOMETHING on ice. LOL.
I don't watch as much hockey when I'm playing, though . . . so that's been a good thing this fall.

I've been itching to watch at least SOMETHING on ice. LOL. Well, you can always watch me skating. I'm not terrific, but I'm better than nothing, LOL.
To: JustAmy
Thanks much, Amy. It's a beautiful song, indeed.
To: Victoria Delsoul
I'll bet you're pretty good . . . growing up in the north country and all that. LOL.

I'm OK, no big deal, LOL.
To: Victoria Delsoul
What I have found is that "OK" is actually "pretty good," because most people don't know how to skate at all.
Have you tried in-line skating?

I did it before when I was younger, but then I got into rollerblade, LOL.
