She is a cutie. Happy Birthday to Marissa again. Since Laura Earl and I got married I now have twin step nephews that are 7. Nick and Zack.

No. VFR, Single Engine Land and Seaplane ratings. I could fly IFR if I had too, I avoid getting myself into such a mess, but I am not rated.

Ahhh .... Nick and Zack are adorable. I'll bet they are a handful. I cannot imagine having two! One keeps me jumping. :)

They are a lot of fun. The were very premature weighed 2 or so pounds each. They have since caught up.

What if there are no roads, rivers, and railroad tracks?
Pilotage works as long as you are not enshrouded in clouds/ground haze, VFR on top, or ocean/desert/tundra on the bottom. In parts of Alaska, polar coordinates are useful.

Actually I fly the sectional. I pick way points based on altitude and visibility. Most of my time is spent within 200 miles of home airport. Currently I don't have a plane and only rent or borrow occasionally. I need to fly more.

BTW, you have some nice looking nephews. You're not looking too bad either -- once Laura Earl got you dressed up a bit.

The are Laura Earl's brother's sons. All those photos scanned red so I look drunk in them.

Thank you Amy. I've been doing some lurking, but not much posting. (I did post a Missouri article.) I was REALLY tired yesterday, got more sleep than I have been last night so I feel better today. There is twice as much work here upon my return from bereavement than there was before I left. So I really should not even be lurking.
