Bump!
I have a graphic "sheeple" somewhere..
No problem. I am an idea guy
Sandi Patty ---> How Great Thou Art
Let Me Be Thankful
If I can't Be thankful For the things that I've got
Then let me Be thankful for the things I have not
I'm thankful, Dear Lord, that I don't live on the street
Nor dig through a garbage can for a few bites to eat
I'm thankful my husband doesn't beat me each day
Nor drink alcohol and throw his money all away
That the salvation army doesn't have to give me clothes
That I don't hide and take drugs so that nobody knows
That my children are normal.. they're not crippled nor ill..
And that they have good morals, they don't cheat.. they don't steal
That I live in a country, this world sees as a champ
And I don't have to stumble to a "Refugee Camp"
That I don't have to hide as I worship my God..
And my path's aren't too rough in this world where I trod
That God loved me so much.. His son died way back then
Giving "Eternal Life" and "Erasing My Sin"
That I don't have to worry and I don't have to wait
I'm already assured of my future.. My fate
Let me ever be thankful for the blessings I've got
And forever be thankful for "The Things I Have Not"

Hey, everybody ! Happy Sunday! TGIS!!![]()
Have a cup while you Freep !
Hi Amy, haven't seen you lately. Hope you're having a nice day. :-)
Wow! Thanks for the music, Mojo. Great stuff.
Hi Oesy. Thanks for the poem.
I probably will. Haven't seen it yet.
Good afternoon, Meekie.
I've been busy. My aunt and uncle came to visit for a couple of days. They left this morning. On their way home to Oregon, they will stop in Reno for a couple of nights.
Today, Marissa and I have been working on a school project. We are (trying to make) making a turkey table centerpiece. He doesn't look just right but close. :)
Happy Sunday.
Good afternoon, Victoria. Happy Sunday.
I've had a busy weekend. We had a basketball game Friday night. Saturday, my aunt and uncle from Oregon came to see us and spend the night. She is my mother's only living sibling. It was wonderful to see them. They left this morning and were going to go thru Reno and spend a couple of days there. They will get home in time for Thanksgiving. :)
Today, I have been helping Marissa with a pre-school project. Man .... what type of project will she have in another two years. You teachers are tough.
We were to make a turkey table centerpiece using what we could find at home. He is not the greatest turkey you have every seen but we have a turkey. I will try to post a picture later.
Good afternoon, MoJo.
Thank you for the beautiful music.
Have a wonderful Sunday (what is left of it) and a great week.
Good evening, Mayor. Happy Sunday.
Thank you for bringing the Daily Bread with our coffee this morning.
Have a beautiful week.
You've been busy, alright!I hope your visit with you aunt and uncle was good.
I went to Wally World (WalMart) today and bought a turkey. I have him thawing out now. He's 12.6 lbs. I found that turkeys in the 12-14# range are ideal for my smoker. The bigger ones take a long time and I have better luck with the smaller ones. And the smaller ones are just enough for me and the little woman.
On Thanksgiving Day, we'll be going to my cousin's house in Mesquite (east of Dallas), a 15-20 minute drive from my house. Dad will come up from East Texas and we'll go together.
Happy New York International Pickle Festival!
that's in Albany, their always in a pickle!
LOL
How was your weekend, Rus? Mine has been busy.
Glad you had a nice weekend, Amy. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. LOL, I'm sure the turkey looks cute though.
