We have plenty of wooded areas here, but we also have
bears, imported coyotes, some feral dogs & feral cats.

We have deer, coyote, and I have heard that we have bobcats in the wooded areas of the city. A little farther out from the city (in the small towns) there have been reports of bear and cougar or mountain lion. Of course the dogs and cats are everywhere, tame and feral.

Our resident bear likes to cross the
road, whether there's something already
on it or not. It can scare people to death
since it's not afraid of cars or people.

Nah, just scares everyone by crossing the road by the
bridge. There was a bear at the bus stop one morning
& it wouldn't leave. Noone could wait for the bus. It
was eventually chased off somehow.We do have a lot
of deer running into the sides & front of cars.
