Good morning, Meekie.
Our weather is damp and cool.
We had fog this morning, but school start time was not delayed.
We have what is called "Foggy Day Schedules". School starts 1, 2 or 3 hours late depending on fog density.

Autumn Sunset in the Forest
Let me share it -
This symphony of autumn color,
cascading melody from a sky
pastel grey and fiery red.
Descant to the dancing tones of
a painted forest
cooled by lush evergreens.
Sensual beauty,
rhapsody of forest and sunset sky
fused as a golden sheen.
Caught in a still lake
waiting with patience
Beyond time and space,
Waiting
to reflect this moment of
splendor
Interbeing.

Well, I don't live in a battleground state. It's predicted that Illinois is going to go to Kerry. But Iowa is a battleground state. That's where I got to see the President this summer (and that's where he's going to be speaking). I live too far away to make any special trips to Iowa before the election.
