Good afternoon :) Yes, thank you, we cleaned up the yard all morning (date palms, olive tree, hedges, weeds, vines, bougainvillea, roses) and now can rest. Hard to believe so much grows out here - especially since we had little rain all summer! Hope you are well.

We had some rain today and was without power all morning.
Fall has really arrived in the Central Valley.

Marissa spent last night with my sister so she could visit with her older brother for awhile.
She had a ball but was ready to come home when I picked her up this afternoon.

We had some rain this morning. We don't usually get any rain during the summer months. It was nice to see some of the wet stuff this morning. :)

Before you know it, I will be complaining about the fog!!

We still have lots of cleaning up to do. We did get a lot of weeds pulled; it is time to prepare the ground for spring bulbs. I don't feel like doing it right now. :-)

I know, totally. Our yard looked like a jungle in back, and slightly weedy in front, so we had to force ourselves. I have to do my winter vegetables, and it's been so friggin' hot until this weekend, I could barely stand it. Our seasonal deadline is Oct. 25th. I have my vegetable bed ready, just have to go out and put seeds in. I have some tomatoes, squashes, and carrots going now, but I have more room.
