Hi Amy! My week is getting better. I'm done with classes and teaching for the week. I still have all sorts of stuff to work on, but at least I don't have to go into the office tomorrow!

Bears Repeating

Mama is the dearest dear,
She lets us party over here.
She helps us clean up when we’re through,
And doesn’t tell us what to do.

She knows we’d like to be like her,
A very famous parti-er!
A fixture at all social luncheons,
Or anything that deals with munchin’s.

And getting dressed-up is great fun,
As long as it’s not overdone,
For although clothes may make the man,
We bears have a more simple plan!

President Bush won on substance alone. The so called talking heads are wrong on this one. Also, Kerry made ludicrous statements that will come back to haunt him over the next few days.

The National Weather Service has issued a warning for yet another
catastrophic hurricane following on the heels of Frances, Charley,
Ivan and Jeanne. The path of this hurricane zigs and zags, and is
therefore highly unpredictable. Experts predict that this one will
cause the most damage to the United States that we have experienced in
four years.


They are naming this one Hurricane Kerry. Be advised, the only way
for citizens to protect themselves is by being behind a Bush.
