Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?

Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave

I was a hippy flower child for about a year. Then all hippy flower child friends wanted to protest the war and hate Nixon and the troops. So I joined the USAF in May 1972 and never looked back.
