That would be an example of "creative stupidity." Make sure you wink at the person you are complaining to, lest they think you are guilty of the real kind.
Here's another example of it:
A mean gunslinger walks into a saloon, orders whiskey, and then says:
... "As soon as I finish my drink, I'm gonna shoot every S.O.B. in this place!!!" People exit hurriedly, through all available doors and windows, except for one grizzled old-timer.
The gunslinger walks over to him menacingly, "Didn't you hear what I said?"
... "Yep!! Sure was a bunch of them in here, wasn't it?"
