In honor of Groovy Chicken Day, check out this link:
Subservient Chicken
This has to be one of the funniest things I've seen in years. :)

Remarkable as that is to see visually, what I get from it is that he is most likely left-handed.
Obviously he is quite talented, but piano-playing is designed for right-handed people to show off.

What I get from it is that I am the musically handicapped one.
(Give me my reproducing player piano, please.)

"(Give me my reproducing player piano, please.)" A "reproducing" piano?
That would explain how Shroeder got that little tiny musical instrument...

A return to Camden Town...
I will go once more to Camden Town
Hoping that dreams can be found
In its winding streets and alleyways
As shadows lengthen at the end of the day.
The dream I most hope to find
As I watch the day unwind
Is finding my life's travails are now done
In you and I becoming one.
Every scene I see becomes poetry
As the darkness envelops me
And orange steetlamps draw a veil
As the night slowly prevails.
As I pass by the bustling bars
I stop for a moment to look at the stars
Make a wish, wish it be done
That soon you and I will be as one.
The remaining light goes and then is gone
But in Camden life still carries on
In laughter and the clink of beer glasses
And people enjoy themselves as time passes
I ask: "Can you hear me, my love, in my reverie
Can you feel that I love you with the depths of me?"
And then I wonder if the warm breeze rushing by
Carries your heart's reply.
More reflections come and they greet
The triumph of shadow on Camden's streets
But I ponder: some will not fade away
Upon the coming of the next day.
Perhaps you hear me in my reverie
Perhaps you know I love you from the depths of me
And know the warm breeze rushing by
Whispers promises of eternal love between you and I.
Our love is both a dream it is real
Something that we know and we feel
Something that can never be brought down
By the coming of the dawn to Camden Town.

"Groovy chicken" day?
We had a chicken that we called Beaker, after the character on the Muppet show. Sounded just like him.
Chickens are my prime example to my chidren of why it is okay to eat meat. They can survive on stuff that I would starve to try to eat, and then I can avoid starvation by ... well, never mind that.
The point is, for chickens to live in propinquity to man is beneficial to them as well. We protect them from other predators. This is less obviously true for other animals as well.
As symbiotes, each species can occupy additional space on a hostile planet. By the way, anyone want to try to convert Eskimos to vegetarianism?

Good Morning, Amy. And happy groovy chicken day! LOL! It looks like I missed you too last night. I went to bed early. My friend's 2 1/2 year old daughter wore me out yesterday. :)
