Yes, a nice visit. :^DMost of mine are gone, but I had lots of aunts. My Mom had five sisters and my Dad had three. Come to think of it, with all those aunts, I also had lots of uncles. :~)
Exactly ! My Aunt that flew in from Florida is my Mom's late brother's widow. I never knew any distinctions between 'blood' relatives and 'in-laws' for many years. Family was/IS always family. All four of the Aunt's we visited with yesterday are widows.
Both of my parents had big families. My Dad had six siblings, and Mom had five. Lots of aunts, uncles and MUCHO cousins !

Awwww, thank you Amy, that is a very appropriate poem.
It reminds me of the pilot that was downed in I think Bosnia, during the Clintoon administration. He wasn't found for a while. He had no access to water, but the Lord provided it for him in rain that accumulated in leaves. Just part of God's provision for us.
