:) Knew that would get a rise out of you. LOL!
I didn't hear Rumsfeld yesterday. :(
Yes, we do - thank you, Amy! Your Place is *one* of the TWO Bestest Places on FR. :) (Guess which is the other one?) LOL
Very good, CG ! I love it.And great pic of the CG Flyboy there, too, Mama_Bear !
My Dad served in the AF for 27 years, 1949-1976.
That pic was taken in early 1949, when my dad was just barely 18.
Did not! ;-)
Very Cute!
Hi Amy. I'm still way back here on yesterday. In addition to being tired today, I also seem to have a sinus headache (and it's raining out, go figure?). Had it since last night. Anyway, hope you're having a fine day.
There they are again, die hard, hard core, tought guy poets!
(I forgot, which one is the cute one again?)
Have you ever tried Montana Arnica? .....Uh, no. My Dad told me he tried WD-40 on his hand when he got arthritis and said it went away.
I tried that since I had some here at the house, but all I got was a slick ankle. It didn't help.
Do they play 'nice' now?
Great pics, as always, OESY.
LOL!
Hi Darks! I'm here a day late.
*hand over mouth*
OMG.. that's too close to reality.
I'm a day late myself, but I'm adapting.
I think.
Yes, keep the thread alive while Amy is gone!
(Note: the following is not my philosophy to life...)
Artist Lyrics: Queen
Song Lyrics: Keep Yourself Alive
Album Lyrics: Queen
Words and music by Brian May
I was told a million times
Of all the troubles in my way
Tried to grow a little wiser
Little better ev'ry day
But if I crossed a million rivers
And I rode a million miles
Then I'd still be where I started
Bread and butter for a smile
Well I sold a million mirrors
In a shop in Alley Way
But I never saw my face
In any window any day
Well they say your folks are telling you
To be a superstar
But I tell you just be satisfied
To stay right where you are
Keep yourself alive keep yourself alive
It'll take you all your time and a money
Honey you'll survive
Well I've loved a million women
In a belladonic haze
And I ate a million dinners
Brought to me on silver trays
Give me ev'rything I need
To feed my body and my soul
And I'll grow a little bigger
Maybe that can be my goal
I was told a million times
Of all the people in my way
How I had to keep on trying
And get better ev'ry day
But if I crossed a million rivers
And I rode a million miles
Then I'd still be where I started
Same as when I started
Keep yourself alive keep yourself alive
It'll take you all your time and a money
Honey you'll survive
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
It'll take you all your time and a money
To keep me satisfied
Do you think you're better ev'ry day?
No I think I'm two steps nearer to my grave
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive mm
You take your time and take more money
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
All you people keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
It'll take you all your time and money
To keep me satisfied
Keep yourself alive
Keep yourself alive
All you people keep yourself alive
Take you all your time and money
Honey you'll survive
Keep you satisfied
Keep you satisfied
Uh, no. My Dad told me he tried WD-40 on his hand when he got arthritis and said it went away.
Um, I don't think what he had was arthritis then. Maybe it was just rust...
Why not? BTW, Windex (forget WD-40) is very good for seeing life more clearly, as well as the Greek derivation of words. LOL!
May the thread live, with embroideries!
He retired the same year as me. I was a four year lifer 72-76. In my my photo I'm 18 as well.
