Lord, protect us from the Liberals.

The election year is turning sour,
but we know You are at our side,
And You will keep GW in power
With us You will abide.

Please Lord, guide our President
Who is honest, kind, and true
Bless him and walk with him
May his errors be few.

May the Republicans win
The country's future lay in Your palm,
Let us pray and find the way
Please help us to be calm.

Rid us of the Liberals today,
See us through their hateful plots
And put our fears away.

Sending Prayers

Our troops are sending prayers tonight, but clouds are in the way,
Like swarming gnats of nastiness, the Liberals, too, pray.
There are some screens in Heaven, to keep the buggers out,
But buzzing critters make some noise, it makes you want to shout.

God looks for and tunes in upon, the sincere hopes for good,
And pays no heed to nuisance drones, of those misunderstood.
“They’re praying for a victory, which is what I will send,
But My way is a better win, than they will comprehend.”

God understands the earnestness, with which a man may pray,
And He’s in tune with W’s plan, He hears him every day.
And God hears all the men at prayer, for enemies, to boot,
That they will come to understand, when they’re compelled to shoot.
