Do you take special requests? Anything but mincemeat. :)

WOW!! I've never had pecan pie....sounds deeelish!
But I'll have Billie's pineapple pie first, it's my fave. Besides, she'd get mad if I didn't. : )Well, shoot! Just pretend #60 is holding a Pecan Pie then, instead of pineapple. LOL

Cherry sounds great. Half a gallon of vanilla ice cream to top it off and I'm a happy man once again.

DEFINITELY has to have ice cream on top! ANY kind of fruit pie or cobbler has to have ice cream with it. :)

I was pinged to that chicken thread not very long ago. That is funny. I told him to clean the house and he straightened the sofa cushions. LOL

This looks like something MamaBear should bring to the next Support Our Troops Rally. Let's tell Chadsworth the rally starts at 6:45. : )
Layered Pecan Pie
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs
1 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
Combine first 3 ingredients; beat until smooth. Add 1 egg and 1 t. vanilla, beating until combined; spoon into pastry shell. Sprinkle with pecans. Set aside.
Combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, 1/4 c. sugar, and 1 t. vanilla; beat well and pour over pecans.
Bake at 375 F for 35 to 40 minutes or until set.
Happy Texas Pecan Pie Day, everyone.

This looks like something MamaBear should bring to the next Support Our Troops Rally.LOL. You think so? I might just do that. But I don't think Chadsworth would want any, it's not chocolate. ;-)
Actually, that recipe sounds pretty good. I think I will add it to my recipe book.
