Once I had a paper dress
I ordered through the mail...
A page torn out of history
a 60's sort of tale.
It wasn't very comfy, tho...
all stiff, not soft at all,
but ,oh, I felt so trendy
like the hot Belle of the Ball...
that is until I sat in water,
(maybe it was Coke)
That soggy dress
was just some cruel designer's
dirty joke!

The flowers in the third picture are (excuse spelling errors:) ranunculas and daffodils. I like the small daffodils. The first picture is a daisy; I need to see if I can find the name.
Here is a closeup of the ranunculas.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. (The lousy weather, not lousy parade.)
Too bad the weather didn't cooperate. Those high school kids put so much practice and pride in these parades.
I've never watched a parade by looking down on it. Certainly a different perspective. :)
Hi T'wit. Hope you have a wonderful day!!

"When our friends encounter suffering,
We can help them if we're near;
Some may need a word of comfort,
Others just a listening ear. Sper"
Thank you, Mayor. The word and the coffee are perfect!
Sometimes we all need to be reminded.
Hope your day Thursday is Terrific!!
