Oh yeh, deep fried turkey, home made mashed potatoes (even got the lumps) with turkey gravy, candied yams, green beans, stuffing, barley casserole, and to top it off a piece of home made pumpkin pie with real whipped cream.

Didn't cook here - went to hubby's sister's in dover...

Had a wonderful time - but I didn't have to deal with the mess this morning!!!!!

Dinner was at my SIL's house yesterday - but I did the majority of the cooking!!!

I'm not complaining - I'm happiest when I'm in the kitchen.

I really lucked out this year. Friends brought over the whole dinner -- pre-cooked and frozen. Had to wait a few hours for it to thaw and heat it in the oven, but it was worth the wait.

Two women went to the hospital trying to deep fry a turkey here in NY.

I've never had deep fried turkey. What is it like?

Hi, She! Kick back and relax. Joe made me one of those new drinks. A blend of turkey, dressing, gravy, potatoes, etc. But, durn! He used REAL turkey. I wanted 'WILD TURKEY.'

It's great. It keeps the juices in the turkey. Sears the outside so that the juices don't escape. The meat doesn't dry out so it's very nice.
