Let this video be your warning to NEVER go on a computer date because even if she turns out to good looking, there is an excellent chance you will end up with someone who has gone Full Mental Jacket. Oh, and avoid blind dates as well. Those almost never work out. Ol' PJ once knew a woman who looked like Sophia Loren who set me up on a blind date with her sister. I figured the sister must also give off the same Sophia Loren vibes so imagine my SHOCK when the door opened to my blind date who looked exactly like ...Nikita Khrushchev. And that was just the start of my night of HORROR. Yes, it's funny now to tell the story of what happened but at the time, I was in a world of disgust and MISERY.
So this is my PSA. NEVER date any woman who you haven't personally seen AND talked to first.
PING!
Your “friend” didn’t show you a photo of her sister? That’s a real red flag.
Dating apps are only good for hookups. It is far better to know a person in general to witness their personal conduct overall.
I’ve never dated a computer.
They’re all know-it-alls.
I think the article below about the guy who decided to leave via the upper floor window in a high rise explains all this.
I had a blind date once. I had to help her cross the street and order food for her.
Cause she was blind. Never again I said!
You don’t need a computer or app to get a date, all you have to do is learn to talk and take the initiative. The more you do it the better you get and it makes the date easier rather than just flat out meeting someone you never saw before and going through the motions like a job interview. Oh God, that is the worst “What do you do for a living....Oh this weather lately” AAAAARRRHGHHH! Above all else avoid democrats.
I’m sitting five feet from a guy that my daughter met on a Christian dating site.
They been married for about six months. Neither are crazy.
Met #3 on the web. It was through a work site. I installed a new door and she was so happy with it she asked me to marry her.
Kinda. ;^)
Has to be in person, in my job I meet a lot of nice guys and dated a few.
I went on a blind date. She wasn’t my type so I told her I was a garbage man. Her eyes went blank and she never said another word to me the rest of the night. Not even bye.
She was just “big boned”?

My parents met on a blind date in 1943, at the end of which mother proclaimed to her GF that she was going to marry that man. She did, of course, and they stayed married until her death 30 years ago last Tuesday.
OTOH, I would NEVER suggest a blind date today under any circumstances.
You cad. You bad.
Both of my older kids met their spouses on Christian dating sites while in their early 30’s.
The trick is to meet up at the pre agreed upon date location.....preferably well lit and a lot of people around.
If it goes sideways you just hit your car and jam out...that way there’s less chance of stalking as she doesn’t know where you live.
Think Craigslist transaction scenario.
The only upside to computer dating I see is that it gives James O’Keefe a lot of material to work with. Honeypot traps ALWAYS work!
