Last week a disabled Canadian military veteran testified in front of the country’s Parliament, claiming that when she complained to Veterans Affairs about a delay in installing a wheelchair lift in her home, they offered to… euthanize her.
If you’re an MSNBC viewer and you don’t know what “euthanize” means: This lady was having trouble getting around the house, so Canada offered to move her into a coffin.
Wow, even Canada’s own government admits that living in the second-worst snowbound communist country on Earth is a fate worse than death.
This sort of medical advice is not only legal in Canada, it’s actually preferred under the country’s Medical Assistance In Dying law, or MAID. Hey, maybe socialized medicine is the way to go after all. I can’t even get my maid to do the windows, let alone a contract killing.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the situation “absolutely unacceptable,” which is the sort of rhetoric he usually reserves for his haircuts.

Dead people don’t complain.
The same people who said that Trump was “literally Hitler” also believe that killing disabled people is “compassionate”.
If all those boxes are checked they will be happy to slap a band-aid on you (not a name brand one of course, those are reserved for your betters but a bit of tissue is just as good!) and send you back to work in glorious Turnip Commune 93.
But if you do not check all of the boxes you just need to die.
Hitler thought the same thing.
KRIS KRINGLE KRAZY?
KOURT KASE KOMING
“KALAMITY!” KRY KIDDIES
As I wrote in my Biology Final in 1974: “And your 3 day flu just lasted one day too long” noting my objections to the Prof’s pro-euthanasia agenda.
Wrong thread or been nipping at the nog?

Not on this plain of existence that we are most familiar with, they don't.
But there are most likely other 'plains' - and they may well have fairly harsh 'grievance procedures'...
You missed one other important quality - you have to be of value to the State. If you are not you are discarded or forced into a work camp or some other unacceptable situation.
When Trudeau gets the Boot you can bet he’ll be with Klaus Schwab and the WEF the next day
I wonder if Canadians would terminate Biden since he is clearly mentally disabled. Instead, he is the US Useful Idiot.
You would think that after reducing service levels, or going cheaper routes like killing instead of treating, that the expenses of socialized medicide would decrease and taxes would go down - but they never do.
They like to cut expenses this way so they keep extra cash in gov hands.
The original headline is an alliteration. I'm assuming it was a commentary on that.
Who figured the Canadians would be new Nazis?
Money is saved by reducing services and rationing care, but that savings is put into hiring more administrative staff. I believe the NHS is the largest employer in Great Britain.

The “euthanasia” killings continued, however, under a different, decentralized form. Hitler’s regime continued to send to physicians and the general public the message that mental patients were “useless eaters” and life unworthy of life.” In 1941, the film Ich klage an (”I accuse”) in which a professor kills his incurably ill wife, was viewed by 18 million people. Doctors were encouraged to decide on their own who should live or die, Killing became part of hospital routine as infants, children, and adults were put to death by starvation, poisoning, and injections. Killings even continued in some of Germany’s mental asylums, such as Kaufbeuren, weeks after Allied troops had occupied surrounding areas.
Humanity is on a downward turn.
One would think any government with a large veteran population would think just a little bit before coming up with crapforbrains ideas like they did in this instance. Ex military, especially disabled ex military would probably be way down on any list of 'who should we piss off today'.
