Since the original innocuous tweet 48 hours ago, from a private account, which did not even use the name “Trump,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been absolutely silent about the illicit FBI raid on the home of Florida citizen and former President Donald J Trump. DeSantis is showing us all who he really is; but are you willing to accept it?
The raid on President Trump’s home is a moment for all to stand and take a position. On the day after the raid, much like the entire DC Decepticon establishment, Ron DeSantis hid in the bunker and kept quiet. No tweets. No appearances. Nothing that would create a situation where he would have to enter this ‘time of choosing.’ This is what politicians do. This is what Nikki Haley does. Avoiding controversy is not what war time leaders do.
On the second day after the raid, again with the politics of the issue as the dominating consideration, DeSantis releases a recording of a statement as Florida schools begin to open for the fall semester. Again, avoiding any situation where he would be asked to take a position on the raid. Please take note and pay attention. These are the moments that matter, the examples that show the true intents and motives of political leaders.
DeSantis is doing what he has been advised to do.
The silence of DeSantis is deafening.
DeSantis’ supporters, cheerleaders, GOPe promoters and sycophants will ignore it, but deep in their psyche they know what I am saying is true.
Ron DeSantis is a good governor for the state of Florida and has many attributes that make him important for a host of reasons, but this is not a war-time general. Ron DeSantis is a politician.
Accept things as they are, not as you would wish them to be. Because this is the same man that many people would select to face the greatest enemy to our republic. DeSantis is showing us right now that he does not possess the courage, desire in scale, or ability to fight the enemy we face in this battle.
DeSantis is a good finisher, a good maintainer, a good and solid ally who operates well when surrounded by the fortune of an aligned legislative body; but he is not yet the weapon that can stop the corrupt UniParty enemy within our republic.
There are moments that show the character of the politicians in the club apparatus. The pathetic and embarrassing Ted Cruz speech at the 2016 RNC nominating convention was one of those moments. The response, or lack thereof, to an illegitimate FBI raid on the personal home of the leader of the republican party is yet another.
Accept things as they are, you will be far less disappointed later on.
I said this three hours ago before Sundance came out with its propaganda. And I got pretty much the same reaction on this site. Which is Saint Ron it’s OK leave them alone three little Twitter sentences just fine. Opportunity is knocking and Ron is holding his balls.

He could have shut down all FBI field offices and shown the FBI to the border.
Not sure he can do that unless they’re occupying a state facility.
However, he could have immediately pulled all state LEOs from all federal task forces. And ensured that only the Border Patrol would get any cooperation from the State. And ask that any of the Constitutional Sheriffs in the state do the same.
The Fed’s are extremely reliant on state and local cops when doing their jobs, in the form of federal task forces. Many won’t function without the locals.

As I have said many times DeSantis is a good governor but would get eaten alive in Washington DC. There is only one Donald Trump.

It’s simple. Pres Trump isn’t a politician. He showed what he is all about during his first four years. And did so without any help. He doesn’t need a post presidency book deal to buy a house on the vineyard. He doesn’t need speaking fees to talk to anyone.
Except for the “fringe”, Greene-Garth-Boebert-Gohmert-etc, Pres Trump has ZERO friends in DC.
DeSantis isn’t any of that.
Ron DeSantis is getting vetted right now. The MAGA movement is watching what he’s doing so far three sentences on Twitter at best. And maybe a statement tomorrow at 4:30 on Friday if we’re lucky. This guy is not presidential material today.

He’s done some great things in Florida…..with a very supportive legislature, supportive county governments and a majority, supportive population.
He hasn’t been exposed or have his life and family’s lives, turned upside down, violently confronted and investigated like Pres Trump and his.
Not saying he can’t be. But these people have changed the dynamic. And at this point it’s becoming, more and more, mob rules.
Have folks forgot what Soetero said about fighting, knives and guns. Not advocating violence, at all.
But the powers that orchestrated and approved this warrant are playing for keeps as all of their previous attempts have failed miserably.
DeSantis’ tweet was strong. When more information comes out, he will say more.

Agree. Politicians are falling over themselves trying to condemn this act. Not sure why Sundance blasted DeSantis on this one. Out of character with what Sundance usually does.
Because this crisis is ready made for Ron DeSantis. If he had to invent a crisis it couldn’t be any better for him. My God if you looking to be a big man on campus this is it. No matter how it plays out it’s a win-win for Ron. Only thing that’s not a win-win for him he’s not saying or doing something. As Bill Parcells used to say do something! Vince Lombardi he who hesitates is lost. Goddamn Ron put me in coach you gotta be ready to play this is your freaking moment.
What is it about people who demand leaders be out there all over the net or media raging about certain events? Maybe DeSantis has something in the works. We don’t know and maybe he doesn’t want us to know...yet. He is like Trump in that he doesn’t tell his enemies everything he plans or thinks. When you give your enemies info, that gives them the advantage and takes away your power to surprise.
How cowardly. This is the same week argument used by all the establishment Republicans in refusing to stand up for what is right when faced with abuses of governmental power. This is how they have allowed the Democrats to destroy so much of our country. They don't lead, they do what they think is in their own limited self-interest. If this is his thinking, then maybe this kind of self-serving politician is all that Governor DeSantis really is. I hope you are wrong.
You may be right. Just noticed DeSantis is speaking in Arizona this Sunday with Kari Lake at a Turning Point USA event. It’s an opportunity for him to speak out on this.

Ron DeSantis is the governor of Florida. The epicenter of the storm ground freaking zero. Somebody gave Ron a gift and he’s not even bothering to open it up or look at it. Malania Trump had her shit mauled by FBI goons. And he’s waiting for Sunday maybe with Kari lake. Kari Lakes got a bigger set of balls that Ron has right now. At least she came out on day one and said she would throw the FBI out of Arizona. Carrie lake the triple threat. One beautiful lady. two the greatest voice in politics today. Three the fastest gun in the west. Ron you play close to the chest meanwhile Kari lake is running for daylight.

He is from FL. I've seen his name mentioned as being: Mark Bradman. But I'm not sure. He does have some devoted followers, mostly Trump fans. But I don't follow him closely
What has he done, is doing and will do?
How many times a day are we required to condemn something bad that we already condemned a couple days ago in order to prove we do not condone it?
