I agree. My radar goes up whenever I'm asked to "just watch a video." What a time suck most of those videos end up being. Nobody ever seems to get to the point in these videos and the object appears to be to keep you watching for an extended period of time.

I've been reading my whole life and average 2-3 books of reading every week. It will take me under ten minutes to read the text of a hour worth of video. Just give me a well written summary and skip the video!

Those that follow items in the aviation community know that Dan Gryder is full of more hot air than a balloon. It’s just another attempt to build views on his YouTube channel and up his revenue.

He’s famous for looking at crashes and playing NTSB and assigning blame for the accident. He took a ton of heat however, when he crashed his own plane and in another recent incident, broke a cardinal rule of airmanship when he lost an engine and tried to turn back to the airfield at low altitude. Fortunately for him and the owner of the plane he was flying, the corn field was more forgiving than a stand of trees or residences.

Juan Brown he isn’t.
