Gun Confiscation is Impossible in America
https://genzconservative.com/gun-confiscation-is-impossible/ ^

Americans know that they should resist delusional, prohibitionist tyrants. The American Revolution started when the British tried to seize Continental muskets and gunpowder. Jefferson reminded us that the “tree of liberty” occasionally has to be “watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Patrick Henry demanded liberty or death. Samuel Adams refused to consent to the “tranquility of servitude” over the “animating contest of freedom.”

Real Americans remember those patriots and are determined to uphold their legacies. We won’t surrender our weapons to confiscatory, leftist tyrants. That’s why gun confiscation is impossible.

People like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want to take our guns. That means that they not only want to steal our lawfully owned and bought property, but also are anti-2nd Amendment. Both of their records show that fact. Make no mistake, they will try to take your guns if the opportunity presents itself.

But what they do not realize is that there are millions, if not tens of millions, of American gun owners that are ready to defend their property and right to keep and bear arms. Sure, some will give in and just hand over their weapons to the feds. Most probably will. But some will still stand and fight. And what seem like a small fraction will, in reality, be millions of people fighting for what they believe in. Gun confiscation is impossible because of those brave patriots who stand ready to defend our rights.

A more recent lesson can be found in Daniel Okrent’s “Last Call: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition”. The “dry” forces exploited public schools to push forth their anti alcohol ideals and allied themselves with even the KKK (who blamed alcohol consumption on Jews and Catholics). Yet the bootlegging and rum running and illegal stills continued and politicians and others responsible for enacting and enforcing Prohibition kept large private stashes of alcohol for themselves, adding to the hypocrisy. All of this contributed to the grand failure that Prohibition was.

Nobody is giving up their guns. It would be the biggest mistake ever made to try to confiscate guns.

Most Gun Grabbers are not that stupid to have law enforcement going door to door physically confiscating guns from people....LEO’s don’t make that much money to endanger their life to that extent......especially on any mass scale.

They will slowly and methodically shut down the gun industry and basically eliminate the supply of guns...

Re-establish the Assault Weapons Ban, that will eliminate the manufacture of entire classes of guns....

Ban the selling of guns and gun parts on the internet, how many companies will that destroy ??

Demand Banks stop doing business with gun and ammunition manufacturers

Require gun owners and manufacturers carry very expensive liability insurance...

Initiate one lawsuit after another against guns and ammo suppliers....

Some of these have already been tried with success...

Remington was sued by the parents of the children killed in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook, the rifle used was a Bushmaster manufactured by Remington....that case was allowed to proceed and resulted in a significant settlement against Remington....

Cabelas is facing a similar situation by supposedly selling .45 caliber ammunition to a 19-year which resulted in the accidental death of another 19-year old....

These are just 2 of a torrent of lawsuits in the future against anyone involved in the gun industry...

They don’t need to confiscate. If they end sales of ammo, gun powder, and primers, the problem solves itself in a few short years.

That’s not how it works:

You make things so complex, costly, and difficult that you ban guns without actually banning guns.

You expand gun free zones.

You let government agencies drag their feet when it comes to back ground checks.

You disqualify more people from owning guns because of metal issues, prior offenses, etc.

You make ammo more expensive.

You make some guns illegal because they look to scary: i.e. assault weapons.

You make federal law enforcement and the federal courts go after any sort of weapon offense more aggressively.

You push on gun shows, gun stores, etc. to make their life more difficult.

You raise all the fees associated with anything gun related.

You allow insane law suits where weapons manufacturers are targeted more credibility and hear them out in federal courts etc.

You make it more difficult to get a concealed carry by ratcheting up requirements.

You make it to where if you commit any offense you cannot have a weapon while in treatment, etc.

You close gun ranges on the grounds of safety or the environment.

There are a thousand more ways you can approach this. The way you get around the Second Amendment is not by drawing a line through it, but by bureaucratically undermining it to the point where it is de facto meaningless and you have “gun control.”

I agree 100%.

I’m down to my last 6,000 rounds so I am trying to stock-up.

They have truck mounted wall penetrating detectors that can see through you, much more, they can see exactly where your guns are. I’d give them 3 weeks, after outlawing guns, to have every single piece of heavy metal, especially in suburbia, they’ll leave the ghettos for last.

Your assessment is 100% correct. Also don’t forget, they can identify gun owners quite easily with a high level of accuracy and never open a gun purchase registry.
Also, they might not confiscate your guns but they might turn off your electricity and water.

Sadly, it is not impossible. Look at states like Hawaii, New York, and others where it is very difficult to buy a gun. DC, for example. Firearms or virtually banned and very few people have them. Citizens in those areas surrendered.

The Australian gun control effort was the test bed by both political parties to finally turn that country into communist controlled sheep.

Sadly they did not have the bill of rights or Constitution to guide them.

To start with they implemented over a few years exactly what you outlined, and thus Australia’s ports are leased to china, massive fertile land sales, massive suburban sales, and the sheep living in tiny boxes they call homes, almost no bigger than 3bedroom apartment.

Never give up your guns, and always stand strong when each of their “laws” are mandated because each one you all not to be the hill to fight on is the one you can never return to.

Respects

...every license plate associated with a CCL is known to all LEOs instantly. Automatic license plate readers are a dragnet.

A law abiding gun owner usually is supportive of law enforcement, yet law enforcement will be tasked with the taking. A conflict ensues in a law abiding citizen’s mind in defending self against those whom they support, coming to disarm them. This well lead most to stand down and give up their guns...the takers have families, mortgages and will follow the orders given to them.

Then the support they had will diminish.

There may be counties where sheriffs will not enforce the confiscating for a period of time.

Everyone has a scenario where gun owners lose.

The opposite scenario is ugly and unwanted, but it will make all of your losing scenarios impossible.

Those who would implement the policies that you have suggested are susceptible to lead. Patriotic Americans will have to make an example of the politicians, judges, and political apparatchiks who are supporting those lawsuits, bans, and disruptions of commerce.

Shooting them first will go a long way toward discouraging this sort of behavior.

FReepers and American patriots are going to have to learn that, unless we are willing to get our hands dirty in defense of our liberty and our lives, they absolutely will be taken.
