They don’t need to confiscate. Just make it a federal offense to own/possess what they deem illegal. Make the penalty imprisonment and a fine. Allow year grace period for turn in.
You’d be surprised how that will weigh on the minds on many who would be considered part-time gun owners. Many would capitulate.

Given that the left are doing all they can to destroy the concept of laws in the US, they certainly want to create a whole lot of new “felons.”
I’m wondering just how many people would decide to simply not go along with the mandatory confiscation (not “buy-backs,” which is yet another Orwellian term for something that never happened.)
More importantly, I’m wondering about just how many people are going to decide that once the government has labelled them as felons, might actually begin to ACT like felons?

And the CCW Holder is required to inform LEO’s that they have a Firearm in the vehicle. In Texas anyway and I would guess it’s the same in the other CCW States. Also they need to handover the CCW Card with their DL.

It’s really just to use one example. We tend to do as we’re told, even when no one is looking.
Compliance comes second nature. And our future generations will be worse if they go socialist. I remember all the conversations I’ve had in Europe and Australia. They are completely incapable of free thought. It’s been bred out of them. The idea of normal people with guns is alien. They literally can’t grasp it.

Yes that's true. What's more in California your DL # is tied into the guns you own. Its sort of a passive workaround registration scheme for officers in the field if they find you in possession of a firearm and want to correlate your ownership records to the firearm.
I have heard LEOS calling in firearms with serial # to dispatch. On a positive note they seemed to be very incomplete and didn't yield many results but the system does exist to be used.
Just check the voter rolls for registered Democrats.
