Joe Biden declared that he would terminate the entire oil industry at the last presidential debate. Easily the Mother of All Gaffes. Yet when you check the media spin control on the debate, most never even mention this incredible gaffe by Biden. They are hoping by projecting a FAKE NEWS Alternate Reality of what really happened at the debate will somehow carry Biden over the finish line.

The formula the Democrats are counting on is “fake news + fake votes = fake figurehead president who will do what we tell him.”
It’s up to all of us to make sure this doesn’t work.
Biden: “I need to win Pennsylvania.”
Also Biden: “I want to end the oil industry.”
How about Biden’s statement about giving 11 Million illegal immigrants citizenship - no one even talking about that one.
Fox Business had an interview with an oil exec who said that we can expect a massive depression if Biden gets elected and goes ahead with this. Hopefully, there will be some other coverage out there at some point, but as it is now, the media has never gone so overboard to protect its candidate by silencing virtually all information about him, even what he said.

Yeah but the millions that saw it emailed AND talked to in person and on social media probably dozens of people and the numbers add up so fast it is simply staggering to the mind.

The ability for the average individual to reach so many people so quickly and for those people to do the same changes elections COMPLETELY compared to even 2 decades ago

I was at a party last week and my 6 nephews and nieces, youngest 17 and oldest 32, when I asked them how often they watched the alphabets...they couldn’t say the last time they did.
even cable was a very distant second to social media as a way of getting information and news
even EMAIL is getting to be an old fashioned way of communicating.
And for all they try, there are so many social media outlets out there that information just flies at the speed of light today and exponentially reaches people
That’s why Trump won last time. That’s part of the reason why he’ll win again .

I’m 58 and I haven’t had network TV or cable on in at least four years. There are so many better sources for news and entertainment. (I have no idea how other Freepers can stand watching Fox news...) I finally persuaded my wife to cancel our cable plan last year and I don’t think she’s even noticed the difference.
I have to laugh when I hear about the Biden campaign spending millions of dollars for ad buys - I watch plenty of entertainment programming on various streaming sites and have never seen a single one of his ads.

The gaffe needs to be fashioned into a TV commercial. You just know the Biden camp will turn the “living with COVID/dying with COVID” exchange into an ad.

I haven’t though in maybe 7 or 8 years. I love being able to choose what i want to watch and when..and like you said with no interruptions
One day many years ago, 2nddivisionvet, a now deceased FR member, asked me why I still watch fox news and did I know it’s really a neocon outfit?
It was one of those “hmmm” moments. And I never looked back :)
I sent my 17 year old niece an email weeks ago and she never replied.
I asked my sister and she said snapchat and whatever other social media are how the talk now.
email is old to them..but she opened it after she found out :)
I don’t even send gift cards by email anymore. Straight to text.
