Patrick Rooney, Founder of Old School, discusses the nerve of many Americans sitting on their backsides and expecting Jesus will come down to save them.

True regenerated believers do NOT sit around on their posteriors waiting for a temporal rescue. They've already experienced it spiritually and are not worried about a sudden removal, whenever and however it comes. They are indeed busy doing the right things expected by their guiding light, not snidely snapping at others engaged in works of imiquity and false accusations.
The whole idea of not caring about / participating in the social and political sphere because “I will be raptured” is NOT BIBLICAL. We are to be SALT and LIGHT. Not Warm and Comfy.

“Patrick Rooney, Founder of Old School, discusses the nerve of many Americans sitting on their backsides and expecting Jesus will come down to save them.”
As Ephesians 2:8-9 states:
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Not by works, so that no one can boast.”
So basically, anyone who falsely presumes it’s their works instead of Jesus that will save them is a boaster, or using an alternate translation, a blowhard.
The only thing I expect to “save me” is steel-core copper-jacketed NATO 7.62x51mm.
Other than that... not much else.
She was rapping on that song!
Only if you can discopunt or disprove Paul's inspired words to the church at Thesslonika in Macedonia:
επειτα ημεις οι ζωντες οι περιλειπομενοι αμα συν αυτοις αρπαγησομεθαverb=harpadzo εν νεφελαις εις απαντησιν του κυριου εις αερα και ουτως παντοτε συν κυριω εσομεθα )Textus Receptus)Translated into Bible Latin, that is:
deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul rapiemurverb = rapiere cum illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cum Domino erimus (Vulgate)When translated into English, that verse says:
"Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air: and so shall we be always with the Lord" (Douay-Rheims Bible). In the Protestant Bible, that is given as:
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (King James Version)The Greek word and its translations being referred to is bolded so that it can be identified in the above. The Latin verb "rapiere" means "to suddenly seize and carry off," and is the word from which the theological scholars have coined the word "rapture" that refers to the event prophesied in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 which you have denied that it exists.
Your statement is ignorant of the Scriptures and false.
Do not continue to broadcast this lie of yours.
Way too literal — nonsense

What happens at the "Last Trump"? Why does the Bible tell us to be watching? What was different about the "wise virgins" and the "foolish virgins" of Mat 25? Where were the wise taken and where were the foolish left to buy and sell? What do Jews know that Christians don't know in 1Thess 5:1-2? 1Thess 4:13-17?
What was Noah's Flood a "type" of? Was Lot removed from Sodom before judgement fell as Noah was? Why did Jesus say He would come back as it was in the days of Noah and Lot? What was Peter talking about in 2Peter 3:1-10?
Foolish virgins will be left behind to buy and sell with the Antichrist and the wise virgins will go to the wedding feast of the Lamb. A High Priest can only marry a virgin of the house of Israel, Ezekiel 44:22;Leviticus 21:14.
The whole feast of Trumpets is about the Rapture and marriage and crowning of the King Jesus. Revelation 4:1 says John heard a voice like a Trumpet saying "come up here". He was in the throne room of God after that.
There is a Rapture and it will happen in order just like the Spring Feasts did. It will be Pre Trib at Trumpets,( the day no one knows the day or the hour,( because it happens on a New Moon emerging) and the Feast of Atonement is 10 days later( had to be cut from 10 years to 7 because no flesh would survive unless Jesus cut it short). After Atonement Tabernacles will come with Jesus ruling and reigning for 1000 years. I could go on but just say the Rapture is written about more than almost anything else in the Last Days.
One more thing.....Revelation 3:10...Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. What trial is coming on the whole earth? No other church is promised this because they are the foolish virgins. Not every Christian is going. The church of Brotherly Love is this special Bride for Christ as loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbor as yourself fulfills all the Law. BTW, RCC's aren't going. They are the church of Thyatira in Revelation 2:18. Revelation 18:4 says you should come out of her to avoid destruction. Read all of Rev 18 for more detail.
Your answer marks you as a phony, pal. I’m glad that I didn’t waste the bandwidth to find that out also. There are others who can be corrected who will profit from the lesson and your response to it.
Calvinists believe once saved, always saved, no matter your life aftwr that decision. They say it is God alone, who will decide that, not any cleric.
so reject actual scripture but embrace writings of a priest LOL
good luck with that.

I’m gonna just assume that you thought you wouldn’t need a /sarc tag.
oops, missed your play
Try Revelations 21:8
“Faith without works is dead.”—James
It doesn’t say God doesn’t like them.
And the Greek word also means timid and fearful.
Cowardly is just one way of translating the word.
Building a doctrine on one possible interpretation of one verse is a huge recipe for error.
Faith without works is dead.James
Galatians 2:16 -
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
