Rush has served the conservative cause will. he has lung cancer and needs all of our prayers. So lets all give him our prayers and maybe tell every one what this mans radio show has meant or how something he has said has helped you in the past.
I started listening to Rush in 1991. We had just moved and I was looking for a station that carried Paul Harvey. My first impression was that this guy is a nut but I kept listening, hoping that Paul Harvey would show up. By the time I figured out that Paul was not on that station, I was pretty much hooked.
Rush has been a good, albeit distant, friend ever since. I listened in college when I was doing math or physics homework, and later in graduate school when I needed to hear rational discourse to balance some of the crazy leftists that infest UC Davis.
Many prayers for Rush. The cancer journey is a difficult one.

By the way, Rush helped make our March for Justice Clinton impeachment rally a success back in 1998. Connie Hair (Clinton’s a liar) called in a couple times and he allowed her to talk it up, bigly.

Hard to even put into words what a big impact Rush has had on my life...I remember way back around 1990 or so, my father in law talking to me about this Rush guy and I had no idea what he was saying...I remember thinking Rush...what’s this Rush?

LOL (too). It took me the same at ESU to realize what monsters were out there...although I was already leaning right when I entered.
As far as running the timers, Rush actually had a guy on his show talking about it, probably 20 years ago, and Rush was TOTALLY blown away...but for us, who were working full-time then, what choice did we have?
I first heard Rush in California, when he sat in for a liberal host on a KGO talk show, in the late eighties. Liberal heads were exploding, and I laughed till I cried. He went national right after that, and I’ve listened to him ever since.
Prayers up for Rush-We hope for a speedy recovery and many more years of broadcast excellence.
Agreed... critical time, we cannot lose him now.... I *found* him in the late 80’s, thanks to my father... he reaffirmed everything I already thought, but due to him - and my father - I no longer held my views to myself. I knew we were right, the MSM were promulgating “fake news”/agenda-driven propaganda.

Rush saved me 32 years ago having been born in Canada with Canuck and Euro parents who had liberal leanings. I have two adult children (late and early thirties) I’ve lost the oldest to the progs but my youngest I attribute to Rush and EIB. He is in the Air Force, happens to be bi racial, is happily married, bought his first house and is serving in Gitmo for six months. He also has a math and EE degree.
Rush may not have any biological children but he has hundreds of thousands of Conservative Godchildren!

My dad picked me up for lunch one day in 1989 for lunch. He had Rush on the radio. After just about 5 minutes, I said “Whoa, who is this guy, saying what I’ve thought and what I had been saying. It’s been appointment listening for me ever since.
