I was wondering - I was born in France - may be in France they had german in the military since they love loosing wars and surrender but I was wondering if we had german in the US Army during world war 2 - did they have german in the english Army?
Just saying..
The enemy is within and even our own army does not ahve the courage to acknowledge that THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.
FREAKING POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!! I AM SICK OF THAT.
And soo soo sad. A 21 year old PRAGNET woman, just coming back from Irak, DIED YESTERDAY BECAUSE WE LET MUSLIM - THE ENEMY - IN THE US ARMY!!!
THIS HAS TO STOP!
THE INSANITY HAS TO STOP!!! WE ARE AT WAR AND WE CARE MORE ABOUT THE ENEMY THAT FOR OUR OWN MILITARY.
THIS HAS TO STOP!!!
Hesham H. Islam (left), Muslim aide to the deputy secretary of defense, with Muslim military chaplain Abuhena M. Saifulislam (right)
...WND has learned that Islam is closely associated with a Muslim military chaplain trained at a radical Islamic school that federal agents raided after 9/11 in connection with terror-financing.
As WND reported, the chaplain, Abuhena M. Saifulislam, studied Islam at the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences in Virginia.
Recently declassified FBI documents reveal its sister organization, an Islamist think tank known as the International Institute of Islamic Thought, or IIIT, is involved in a Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy to wage a cultural and political jihad to eventually take over America from within most notably, through infiltration of government agencies.
Islam works closely with Saifulislam (Arabic for "sword of Islam") on Pentagon outreach projects involving Middle Eastern embassies and the so-called Wahhabi lobby in Washington...
We had Germans and Japanese in WWII. However they were AMERICANS and shared the American ideology. Their first allegience was not to a worldwide cult.
A quarter of everyone in Pennsylvania is of at least partial German descent. That’s an awfully broad brush.
I agree with your statement but am unsure of your point.
I’m a little slow tonight so it could be me.
Rank and organization: Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army, Company B, 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment. Place and date: Flamierge, Belgium, 4 January 1945. Entered service at: Baltimore, Md. Birth: Berlin, Germany. G.O. No.: 25, 9 June 1950. Citation: For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty at Flamierge, Belgium, on 4 January 1945, when his company was pinned down by enemy artillery, mortar, and small arms fire, 2 hostile tanks attacked the unit, inflicting heavy. casualties. S/Sgt. Jachman, seeing the desperate plight of his comrades, left his place of cover and with total disregard for his own safety dashed across open ground through a hail of fire and seizing a bazooka from a fallen comrade advanced on the tanks, which concentrated their fire on him. Firing the weapon alone, he damaged one and forced both to retire. S/Sgt. Jachman's heroic action, in which he suffered fatal wounds, disrupted the entire enemy attack, reflecting the highest credit upon himself and the parachute infantry.
We would never have gone to the moon without Germans, guaranteed.
The loyalty of German-Americans was more of an issue during WWI.
You might not remember the Senator from Wisconsin that tried to shine the bright lights on the communists in our government. Joe sure raised a commotion for awhile. Then the communists got a law passes so that they would no longer have to swear alegence to our country. From that day everything has been going down hill. Lately, it seems that the speed of decent is accelerating.
Sen. Inoye of Hawaii was a Japanese-American soldier who lost an arm fighting the Japanese in the Pacific. He didn’t kill 13 Caucasians so he didn’t get shipped out and be forced to “shoot his fellow Japanese”, like this cowardly prick Hasan. Inoye did his duty.
We had Germans but not Nazis. We can have middle easterners serve in our army but not islamofascists.
Yes we did. Many of those soldiers were Jewish refugees from Germany and almost ALL of them were PATRIOTS who did not try to prosleytize their fellow soldiers to accept the Nazi Volksgemineschaft!!!!
There were thousand of Americans of Japanese ancestory who served in the Pacific in the Military Intelligence Sevice. Many military historians think they shortened the war by months or years but their work was classified for many years.
The irony was that you had to be educated in Japan to serve in the Pacific. Most Nisei like my father and uncles did not speak and write Japanese well enough to serve in the MIS.
What about Nimitz? He was a TEXAN.
A good friend of mine that was German was in army inteligence and worked behind german lines durring WW2
That’s very rude! Did you entirely miss what the poster is saying???
“We had Japanese-Americans in the army, but put them in the European theater.”
One of our employees was Japanese and spent the entire WW2 in the Pacific with 2 guards with him at all times. He was used for interogation.
Werner Klemperer (Col. Klink), John Banner (Sgt. Schultz), and Leon Askin (Ge. Burkhalter) of Hogan’s Heroes were born in Germany and Austria and served in the US Army during WW2.
I think Klemperer insisted that the Germans look like buffoons during the series.
I take it back. You’re not rude. You’re stupid.
Chester Nimitz is another. There’s a famous aircraft carrier named after him.
