I was wondering - I was born in France - may be in France they had german in the military since they love loosing wars and surrender but I was wondering if we had german in the US Army during world war 2 - did they have german in the english Army?
Just saying..
The enemy is within and even our own army does not ahve the courage to acknowledge that THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.
FREAKING POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!! I AM SICK OF THAT.
And soo soo sad. A 21 year old PRAGNET woman, just coming back from Irak, DIED YESTERDAY BECAUSE WE LET MUSLIM - THE ENEMY - IN THE US ARMY!!!
THIS HAS TO STOP!
THE INSANITY HAS TO STOP!!! WE ARE AT WAR AND WE CARE MORE ABOUT THE ENEMY THAT FOR OUR OWN MILITARY.
THIS HAS TO STOP!!!
Germans in the US Army, The Reihardts, 2 Generals that commanded Infantry Divisions in Germany. Eichenburger a 3 star in the Pacific, the list is long I’m sure. Gen. Bolte too. And that other German Guy, The Commander in Chief Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Excellent way to put it.
There is room in the US Army for Jordanians, Egyptians, etc, PROVIDED there is strong evidence that they are NOT active Muslims. To the extent that somebody is a Muslim, then they are bound by their religion to be the enemy of all who choose not to submit to Islam.
Evidence that somebody is an active Muslim should be treated the same as evidence that somebody is an active member of the Communist Party, or a neo-Nazi organization.
It is probably overboard to deny Muslims the chance to server, but to allow Anti-American Muslims, who rant against the US publicly, to remain in service, is simply insane.
I'm pretty sure we had Nazi sympathizers in the Army. My father told me he had one Italian-American in his unit who would go on and prate about axis victories early in the war. (My father joined the NYNG in 1940 and was scheduled to be discharged early in 1942. How'd that work out for you, Dad?)
I understand people's desire to ban Muslims from military service. I believe it is a religion of hate that preaches murder and slavery. But we can not compromise who we are. If we do we have lost. We should do a better job of vetting the people we trust with our safety. The political correctness must stop. Military members who speak out against their country and mission are not fulfilling their oath to obey lawful orders. Obviously, they are not supposed to follow orders blindly, but when you root against your country you have no business in any position in our government. But we can not usurp our constitution for convenience, no matter how tempting. We have enough people trashing the constitution already.
And also General Carl A. Spaatz, from a German immigrant family, commander of the Eighth Air Force in World War II.
US soldiers served safely shoulder to shoulder with Ethnic Japanese and Germans because they where not in a sworn death cult.
My great grandfather came to America from Italy in 1913. He worked as a coal miner and small farmer in central Illinois When the war started, the FBI came to his house and seized a table radio with a shortwave band his kids had given him for his birthday and that he used to listen to opera, along with an old shotgun and a pair of binoculars.
He sent two sons to the war. One came back with his insides messed up after another guy jumped feet first into the hole where he was taking cover during a Japanese air raid. Then the military lost track of him and reported him to the family as M.I.A., until a couple of months later he turned up in a hospital stateside. The other one came home in a box, killed on the Cotentin penninsula seven days after D-Day.
As stated, yes, we had Germans in the military during WWII. What we didn’t have were Nazis in our military during WWII.
AND YOU ARE WRONG!!! That’s exactly why we are where we are. Because people like you will treat that guy as a criminal HE IS NOT. He IS the enemy and that was a muslim extremist RELIGIOUS act. Allah akbar???
YOU ARE WRONG and all teh people who think like you are responsible in part for what happened yesterday.
Keep on a dreamin’!
Bullsh**.
My german born grandfather served in the Navy, but he was a generation before WWII.
Since about 40% of Americans are at least partly of German descent (probably more at that time)it would be hard to even have an army without them.
You mean the guy from Oregon? He was Heer (Army), not SS.
Islamist ‘Trojan horse’ in Pentagon, say experts

“An extremist religion did not kill these young men yesterday”
I’m sure that comforts the men and women as they were shot, defenseless.
Of course the reality is that the last words they heard before they died were screams and “Allah Akubar”
I don’t think there were too many German Americans in WWII that yelled, “Martin Luther” and shot defenseless American soldiers.
Its ok. We're making a point, but we do get your point too.
PC is going to kill us. This guy had made it very plain on several occasions that he agreed with the jihadists. Not just that he was a muslim, which obviously no one cared, but that he actively supported the jihad, he said so again and again. And no one bothered to act on it. He ought to have been booted out of the military. He had no business in uniform.
