The protestor argued with him quite logically (and made the officer look like the fool he is), but no, he did not resort to any violence.

Perhaps he could have gotten himself arrested but the video makes that fairly unnecessary.

He spoke up and questioned the situation as much as he could. But since he probably didn’t want to get arrested, it appears he did not pick the sign up. If he had decided to hold the signs again and get arrested - the story may have made big news because the charges would not have made sense - ‘trespassing’?

Those Fairfax County Public Schools Security Services people should be inundated with calls, faxes, and emails this embarassment and asked if they actually train their officers to believe that they can arrest someone for whaterver they want to, and that this "Aint America no more."

This issue, and the overwhelming rejection of it (and Obama) by the American people is really bringing the marxists and fascists out of the woodwork.

I’m not a lawyer, but you’re exactly right. Schools are used for a wide range of purposes including religious meetings. School policies applicable to the functioning of the school do not apply to such meetings.

I can't,for the life of me,understand why officer Cheeks wasn't accepted to MIT...or to Harvard Law School.It must have been racism.

And,for the record...I ain't no lawyer but even *I* know that his displaying...or not displaying...a particular sign isn't what determines what is...or is not..."trespassing".I wish the guy had put the sign up again.But you can be sure that his video camera would somehow have been horribly smashed into a million pieces by Officer Cheeks on the way to the station.
