Maybe somebody else with a better computer can get a clear read on the tag number on the police car in the background, as well as a better look at the arm patches (at another point in the video) to identify which department this lovely officer works for.

As a retired Police Officer (32 years service) I have to say that Policeman should be severely reprimanded for the stupid actions on his part. Give a copy of that video to the Mayor and demand action now. Good Grief.

Unbelievable...the officer was (IMHO) intejecting his own political feelings and opinions of the poster into a exercise of 1st amendment rights on what appeared to be public property.

I watched it 3 times and still cannot believe just how much of a fascist this cop is.

Trespassing, the cop is an idiot for one but a fascist too.

I hope the conservative blogs follow this story and is there a complaint against him, I hope so,

I am sitting here incredulously. The officer was asked what law had been broken. He did not answer that ever.

He said that he could charge the protestor with whatever he want to charge. THE OFFICER CLAIMED TO MAKE THE LAW!!!!

He needs to go back to school and learn the limitations of the law. Police do not have authority to do what the officer claimed.
