It’s confusing. The Supreme Court would likely be sorting all this out.
Wrong again.
The Birth Certificate was necessary because Hawaii Court rules, like those of most other jurisdictions, require a birth certificate of minor children in ex parte divorce proceedings.
Reason she went to Coast General Hospital is because it was staffed by the British Colonial Service doctors who were competent. The woman doctor who delivered Obama has her name on the original birth document file and she was alive and well and her location was known at some point in recent history. She was aware that the situation involves a threat to her life.
The part about Mombasa is fuzzed up--Coastal Province was part of Zanzibar until the agreement of October, 1963 at which point Zanzibar relinquished and ceded control over the area to the Republic of Kenya which did not yet exist. Immediately, all of the civil functionaries in Coastal Province changed their name to Republic of Kenya. These events are detailed in the local press and in history of the area and are all generally understood. I assume that is why the word "Province" came out of the hospital's name also.
People with robust security programs have clicked through the warnings and reported no malware.
One 0bama operative maliciously reports non-existent malware and scares off a bazillion interested parties from seeing the web originals.

I went there several times. No warnings, nothing, afterward I ran a virus scan and 3 spyware programs, all clean. My spyware runs constantly by my clock to block incoming and also it sends any suspicious file to them to be checked on. The other 2 I have to run and I do them a couple of times a day. I also go into my registry and makes sure certain things aren’t lurking there. I have never had a trojan or a virus.
What about the kinds of forms used at that time? Does the Bomford doc look like similar AU contemporaneous forms?
You are right. I’ve typed for years with a very old typewriter my Mom had and I used both keys for one.
How do you know about the original birth certifate document file?
Please, more!
A good question and I cannot answer it unfortunately. I did track down "lost relatives" when my Dad's family broke up in London in 1920. Some descendents live in Mildura, South Australia. If this keeps up, I will have to send them more than my annual Christmas card.
Whatever happens, this has to be resolved.
You are right.
I hope this helps.
From my post:
The ten-year transmission requirement remained in effect from 12:01 a.m. EDT December 24, 1952, through midnight November 13, 1986, and still is applicable to persons born during that period."Still" appears to mean as of 11-01-2007. So if Obama was born outside the U.S., are you saying that he was an illegal alien until sometime after 11-1-2007, but that now he is a legal citizen?
Wasn’t (isn’t) it pretty common knowledge that McCain’s dad and grandad were both admirals in the US Navy? Did JSM really NEED to post his BC at all? He readily stated he was born in the Panama Canal Zone when his father was stationed there. The Big0 has no such “common knowledge” at all.
Didn't you get your new memo from Rhambo?
Shate? :)
OFF TOPIC but just where does one look to see when a poster joined FR?
Very interesting comment:
Page 22 How and when the marriage occured remains a bit murky , and he says he never had the courage to explore the truth.
Theres no record of a real wedding, a cake , a ring, a giving away of the bride .
No families in attendance..
No relatives were informed.
But, after writing that he says (I believe this to be a leap )
that it was just a small civil ceremony with a JP.

So if it’s “murky” where the marriage took place, it could’ve happened in Kenya.
I wonder if they have JP’s in Kenya?
Ping to #6,542.
Hmm. I see that important thing here is not the ten year requirement, but the two years vs. five years after fourteen requirement. My basic question remains the same: are you saying that Obama was once an illegal alien, but that he is now legal?
Just put your pointer over the name and the date will show up.
That sort of jumped out at me. !!
Click the poster's name.
Well, it really doesn’t matter whether McCain needed to or not (i.e., show his birth certificate to the public), since the key issue here is if a candidate is *legally required* to show his birth certificate.
I mean... in “politics” a candidate can do anything that they want, if they think it will benefit them. Or, that candidate can refuse to do something politically, if he thinks he doesn’t want to. The only consideration he will have — is that it may or may not affect him politically (i.e., he may win or he may lose, just on that decision of his).
So, it’s a political decision as to whether the candidate wants to do that or not. In McCain’s situation, I guess he thought that it was politically smart for him to release his birth certificate to one reporter (who wrote about it) and then to a few Congressmen. That’s what he thought would be beneficial to his campaign and to get the issue out from under him and possibly fouling up the race for him.
Obama, likewise, didn’t think it was worth it, politically speaking, to show his birth certificate to the public — either. But, in Obama’s case, he didn’t even show it to a reporter or to some Congressmen.
That’s why we need a state law that makes it *legally mandatory* for a candidate to show his birth certificate or else he cannot be on the ballot in that state. Then it would not be a “political issue” any longer, but a *legally mandated* issue. That’s what we need.
It sounds pretty sound to me since no one can show *any legal requirement* for a candidate to show his birth certificate... :-)
I know that you would prefer to ignore an inconvenient reality, as it shows exactly why many are getting *absolutely nowhere* in getting the birth certificate shown. I can’t imagine how something like that can be missed, but it obviously is...
