A minor amount of research to find the libraries which archived those particular papers, a visit to each to get a clear photo image of what is the entire square of the page in question, return visit to each where the papers were archived and check out the particular date 'for research' and replace it with a good forgery when turning it back in. Sandy Burglar can fill you in on haow easy this stuff is ;^)

I thought so, too... until I was informed by other FReepers that the ones that circulated on the Internet were fake ones with some false information put on there by some guy who was out to get McCain (in regards to the issue about where he was born).

I’m not saying there doesn’t exist “fake copies” of McCain’s birth certificate, but that you’ll never find that McCain released it to the public. And from what I’ve heard from other Freepers telling me about it (when I thought different, too...), I see that this is true (i.e., no real copies, just fake ones and McCain never released it to the public).

If you don’t believe me, then just find a news source where they report McCain released it to the public (and what was his method for releasing it to the public? newspaper, campaign website? what?)...

It has been theorized here that it was requested for the HI attorney handling Stanley Ann’s divorce, which would have been around the date of the birth certificate copy.

McCain did not provide both of those documents and at least one of them has a questionable provenance. At least one of those was provided by a plaintiff suing McCain on eligibility grounds.

Allowing any document to be held by a Senator Leahy committee is as good as a FOIA ... leaky was probably the source of the document from which forgery was perpetrated. The only change would have been name of hospital.

I'm not so sure Davis and Stanley were yet close friends. Davis didn't come to the Islands the same year the Dunhams did. And the Dunhams had not been there very long when supposedly Stanley Ann attended Russian language classes and met Barack senior.
