Good afternoon all....it was a wild nite, last nite, with gusting winds, falling rain, and all round nastiness....the wind has finally calmed down some, but its still glum and rainy outside...typical for us, this time of year...cannot wait for the clear dry days to finally arrive here, but it will be a while before that happens...

BigDom has to start 3 hours early today, with yesterdays reprieve from all this overtime, being shortlived...oh well, ,as least yesterday, he made up for some lost sleeping time...today, its back to normal, working overtime...but he does not mind, all the overtime goes into the piggy bank for buying the RV, when the time comes...

Grannie, that Chloe, just keeps getting cuter and cuter...she will be quite the heartbreaker with the boys...keep your shotgun handy, to fend off the hormone driven lads...

I am lazy today, have pushed back spring cleaning and spring planting by one day....instead just look at my seed packets, making plans, and wrote out my cleaning schedule...that is as ambitious as I was today...I am just in 'slug' mode today...

Hi Mom, we're having wild weather over here too. It was almost 70 today, we're under a severe thunderstorm watch now and tomorrow we're back into the 40's...

A day in "slug" mode is good for the soul. ;-)

When you start off with "it was a wild night last night"....I immediately think of breaking chairs and lose my train of thought....

LOL....no chair breaking, at least last nite...poor BigDom is working at the trusty post office, during the nite...thats why during the week chair breaking activites, become 'Afternoon Delights', out of necessity....

I love 'slug' mode days....they are so wonderfully unproductive and leisurely...

Well, I am going to plant lots and lots of varieties of lettuce...BigDom has a giant salad with his meal, almost every day, so we use tons of lettuce here....and also some nice radishes, onions, and snow pea pods...

As for flowers, I always plant the easy to grow stuff, like marigolds, zinnias, and bachelors buttons...I am also going to plant morning glories, as I remember my mom always planting those, while we were growing up, and morning glories just bring back so many wonderful childhood memories...mixed in with the morning glories, I am going to plant something called 'Moonflowers'....they are just wonderful...they are an big vines, just like morning glories....but the 'Moonflowers', bloom only at nite...they have huge, very very fragrant white blossoms, and the perfumed smell they give off is very powerful...

So the morning glories by early in the day, and the 'Moonflowers' at nite, will make a lovely continuous combination....

Well, a giant salad starts the meal...if BigDom does not get a big giant salad he thinks I am not taking care of his nutritional needs...he loves his salad...

Then after the salad, its prawns and scallops stir fried, with lots and lots of veggies, and rice....

Usually no desert...Bigdom is not a sweets eater, only having sweets occasionally...
