What a brilliant picture of planet earth. Did you notice how many lights and bright spots there are in the shadow zone to the right? That was a sunset picture (sun setting in the west). I would think you would give a picture like that to kids taking a geography test and tell them to sketch in the approximate borders of the countries in view.
As to your observations about jobs, add to that the correlary that people have little spare money, and when that is all spent on gas, there is even less frivolous money. Those who work hard to stop the procurement of gasoline should be punished with the same fervor as those who work to besmirch the jews or blacks. O.K. It's time for me to stop my rant. Cheers.
