Yes Kath.. It's my first time at trying this style of Faux Painting.. I actually didn't think I'd ever finish it.. but I got the inspiration today..

I'm so glad it's almost done, now I can go on to more stuff.. I couldn't until I finished this.. I was tempted to cover it with something..but I hated to give up.. ;)

If my body could just keep up with my mind..

I look forward to seeing your future projects, Gran. You should open a gallery. Maybe in a corner of the barn...

Not on your life.. I'm not good enough for one thing.. and it's only fun when it's not work.. ;)

My daughter Dyan just did her son's whole bedroom. All four walls from floor to ceiling. I'm dying to get pics of it.. The room goes from morning to night. She even put his dog on the wall..

It's fun.. try it..and if you don't dare free hand, buy some stencils.. I found a great stencil outlet on the internet this morning.. It's what gave me my inspiration to get moving again..

My only experience with stencils includes Glass Wax at Christmas time when I was a kid..lol. I'll leave artistic endeavors to the professionals...some things shouldn't be tried at home. ;-)

ahhh.. I could get you over the fear of that in no time..

I used to love those glasswax stencils..

That reminds me.. I have to get some etched stencils for my sliding doors. I'm tired of walking into them..
