That is a pretty bathroom window Gran,
Back from Vacation, Went to Hoover dam, lake Mead, Valley of Fire (state park in Nev), Zions NP, and out onto a hilltop of BLM land where we burnt a very big bondfire.
Now I really have a pile of work to do...
Still no luck making the modem work with my netscape.
Cheers.

Oh.. did you like Hoover Dam? We went there one time we went to Las Vegas..and it was the best time of the trip. I loooved it. What an interesting place.. Went to Lake Mead of course and saw the giant Catfish.. but we never went to the other places..
Sounds like a great trip..and especially the big bonfire.. I love a good fire.. ;)
Sorry about that modem.. What the heck is going on? Can't you use explorer?
To: Darksheare

Yeah, Those giant catfish / I think they are carp / were swimming around in 2 feet of water by the pier at Echo Bay, and once someone started throwing popcorn there must have been a hundred of them. With the water down about 80 feet, it is interesting to see how the beach house / store / restaurant is next to the high water mark, but as the level has been dropping, they have continuously built sidewalks and boat ramps / piers on down. The big boat ramp runs out above the water, and people are putting in on gravel below that. The house is a quarter mile from the water now. The marina is getting pretty small, a quarter of the area planned.
I put in a call to tech support to figure out the modem, then my other daughter hopped on the phone line without me knowing, and chatted an hour away while I was waiting for the call-back.
I told her that set back the effort to get it working. (You know how daughters are.)
Cheers.

I've seen stuff like that, usually accompanied with loud bangs and blinking flashies and such. And rapid popping sounds...

Holy shit I wish I had two hundred fifty grand. Oh how nice life would be to get away from the sick inner-city ghetto and be out with 40 acres to f**k around on all day long. Look at them hills. I bet wildflowers pop up on them in the Springtime. The air probably smells fresh there (besides from cow dung that is). With all that territory, I could have all the cats and dogs I want, plus some pigs for bacon suet and turkeys and Llamas and ostriches... It comes with a barn, too, so I could stock it with illegal Mexicans to live there to help me keep the grass mowed! F**k, how can I get $250 grand so I can get the hell out of Silicon Valley before I friggen DIE of boredom? Who owes me money? Who?

40 ACRE RANCH only $250,000

Now there's a thought...pool our pennies together and buy ourselves a 40-acre ranch. Imagine the barn Gran would have there...;-)
A chilly good morning to all.
