After reading Charles Krauthammer and Peggy Noonan, thanks to Servant's email, I have to agree with you.

I read a lot of threads this morning, and find Freepers confused and confusing. I will stick to who I trust opinions.

I find myself very pissed off at Mrrrr. Lott and what he has caused the Republican party. I also realize just what the Black Caucus and the Democrats are up too. Any ship in a storm, and they will make this storm big and make it last until the next election if they can.

Thank you Mrrrr. Lott. Thanks so much for the backbone you've always displayed and thanks for your stupidity. No wonder Mrrrr. Dashole loves you so. I guess he'll be the only one to miss you..

Where I come from, one does not gleefully hand the enemy ammo to be used against oneself. Trent Lott is another useful idiot.

The Dems will not cease until they are back in power again, they are relentless. Even when we win, we lose. I am so disgusted I could scream.

As long as the Clintons control the Democratic Party things will not change. They invented the politics of personal destruction and have no problem employing whatever tactics they deem necessary to seize and maintain power. They have a long history of destroying anything or anyone who gets in their way.

The Republicans still don't seem to realize that they are dancing with the devil.

btw, I think Lott should stay and he'd do just fine as Majority Leader.He will impliment Bush's agenda, isn't hostile to it, and after all, he's not setting policy, Bush is.Lott's job is to pass the legislation and see if it's possible.He can't snap his fingers and do magic tricks.I wish more Freepers would understand the limitations placed on a Majority Leader.One is the need to play great D when required.He did that very well when Slick was in power.Give the guy 12 months with a majority and Bush pushing, then do a post mortem.He did wonders up until Jeffords jumped ship.

I would say fotki is good. I don't know if it's free anymore. Pbase is free to of course, but I paid for using bandwidth. check them both out..

Karsh literally shot down the hallway in one motion after scraping his mail shirt on the secret door. He came to an intersection of passages and took a left. Carefully picking his way around corners, slowed down by the twists of the passage, he finally came to a door. He touched it carefully and jerked his hand back. He was burned! Glaring at the door, and what was on the other side, he growled. A menacing howl of rage and frustration. Then he shoved the door open amid the crackle of splintering wood and tearing of fabric. He'd removed half the renovation work on the Queen's chamber by blowing the door open, destroying priceless woodwork and demolishing a tapestry in the process. He stepped through the slowly settling remains of his handywork and stopped short at what he saw.

Arselen was somewhat sitting, somewaht floating over the end of a couch near a table. She held the blue pendant that Karsh had given her in her left hand. Everything was bathed in an eery blue light that rippled, all of it was centered on the stone in Arselen's hand. Her eyes were open, but one was rolled up in her head, the other dialated and fluttering. Karsh swore a string of vile oaths and curses as he leaped over a chair towards her. He took off his right glove while in mid flight. Something pushed him backwards, and he growled in response.
He stepped forward and quickly grabbed her chin with his ungloved hand and, as gently as possible, pulled her towrds him- forcing her eyes into line with his.

"You must stop this." a command, not a request or statement of fact. Arselen twitched and bucked as if in protest. The itching, skin crawling feeling got worse. Karsh's face grew stern, he knew she was liable to cause herself hurt. And he refused to be the cause of it.
He picked her up completely, stared into her eyes and forced her back to the present.

"Ow!" her voice echoed in her own head as she became aware of where she was. And protesting the pain only made her own head hurt worse.
"You only have yourself to blame for that. I suggest you sleep while you can." she glared at him. He wasn't in the mood to argue, so he gestured at her and she fell limp in his arms.
"That's a good ge'el" his accent came out in the use of the common word 'girl', and he set her on her mattress. Gently, he set the covers over her once he'd unslippered her feet. Almost like tucking in a child, he did his best to make her as comfortable as possible. He didn't envy the feeling in her head. He was busy cleaning up the mess his entry into the room made when everyone finally caught up to him. But they weren't asking about the mess.

"Lord Kentu, there's word from our border scouts that a Gronuth battle group is coming. They were over-run about fifteen minutes ago!"
Karsh looked over at Arselen with an undefinable look. Of all teh times to be trying to get into his head, and of all the times for the Archon to attack...
"Rally the troops. Prepare for battle." he handed a porter the broom, it was the same poor lad he'd leaped over. And he went towards his own isolated chambers to prepare.
