It's snowing again. According to the radio, this should be the last batch, total accumulation 8"-10". I'm ready for singing frogs, palm trees and pool weather, right now. ;-)

Chili sounds yummy, don't think we have the fixings, tho. ;-(

Maybe next week we'll go find ourselves a big, fat tree. :-)

I know you would.. My friend Pat gave me that snowman last year. It was my only Christmas decoration.. Of course I went home last year, but I didn't get a chance to decorate there either..

It's still slim-pickens around here with that man of mine. He has the garage full, so there's no room for Gran's Christmas.. Tools and things are much more important, yaknow... ;)

A Cuban Pouch is just a pastry shell filled with spicy meat.. Not bad, if you're not too hungry or picky.. ;)

I'm glad you asked her, I didn't know what a Cuban pouch was, either. Sounds contraband to me. ;-)

Lovely bluebird picture,

I was trying something goofy yesterday, When I walked past the bluejays here, If I whistled as I went, they didn't fly away. Funny.

Cheers.

Yesss.. they do.. Good thing we decided on supper tonight, otherwise that would have done me in.. ;)

Al just came home with Crab stuffed Rolled Sole. Going to bake them with a little buttered Ritz Cracker crumbs and some Lemon herbed sauce. Guess that will go good with some Rice Pilaf.. ;)

Kathy took that in her yard today.. They had lots of snow.

You know I've never seen a Bluejay down here, but I swore I heard one right outside the other day. Guess they stay to the north, and don't like the south?

It's great that BigFella located a superior fishmonger down there - your dinner sounds superb.

Mrs.L's pot of chili is simmering, but I forgot the dammed Frito's Scoops so it's back to the grocer for me. The good news weather wise is that the front has passed, leaving crystal clear, sunny skies with the promise of frost on my pumpkins by morning. bbl
