Thanks so much for letting me know about your father in laws passing, and sending along your tribute to him....he sounds like he was a fine man, who lived a full life....and has gone on to his reward with the Lord.....special prayers go out to you and your dear wife, and all the family, who is surely feeling this loss...

That Parkinsons is a very nasty thing to deal with, playing havoc with the body, and often with the mind as well....at last he is free of the illness which took him....

I am glad that you found my email about my nursing home experiences with the dying to be of some small help or comfort.to yourself, and also your wife...

My computer has some adjustment problems, which Andy worked on...and hopefully it will be working for a little while anyway...but Andy believes that I am going to need another new computer.....

Have not been online most of last week or this week, as have just been very busy, what with roof replacement duties, shopping duties, cooking duties, Thanksgiving day duties, and now decorating the house for Christmas duties....

I am just now on my way out the door, to do some more Christmas shopping....hopefully tomorrow, things will settle down a bit, and I can have some time for posting....

In any case, I shall be thinking of you and your family at this time of loss in your lives.....it is a time of loss for you, but a time of coming home to the Lord...he calls us all in HIs own good time, when He is ready to receive us....and we go to Him, leaving our loved ones behind, but knowing full well, we shall be together again...the Lord provides for that and for us....

Hopefully tomorrow, I shall be back on line, with Thanksgiving tales, and the camaraderie that is FR and all the DD friends...

Thanks for bringing Mom to us, Loddy. I was thinking of her after Thanksgiving, the UPS man should be making visits to her house on a regular basis again now. I look forward to Mom's return to the DD.

Did you get snow? It's summer here today... A little cloudy, but waaaaaaaaaarm..

Snow is supposed to start between 10 tonight and 2am. Just heard on the radio that they've upgraded us to a "winter storm warning", they expect 3"-6" of snow, plus sleet now.

Translation: they have no idea what's going to hit us yet.
