We are to get that white crap in the form of showers here today..pisses me off.

Where am i?? Home for this weekend...I am missing because i am soooo freaking busy it ought to be against the law....Mom has had a series of Physical Therapy appts that took up much of my time, now she has a more serious issue of a torn rotator cuff in her shoulder so we are havening an MRI next week.

Work sucks as usual..and the kids will be kids if I let them live much longer.

You havening a house full for Turkey day?? Is the hubby gonna create another incinerated Boid for youse and yours?

LOL..don't let the kids live.. Take it from me, it's not always worth it.. The troubles just get bigger and more expensive..especially with the more you have... ;)

No big house full this year for Thanksgiving. Our friends Pat and Ernie are coming over, and if it's a good day we'll take some Turkey sandwiches and go boating.. If not, we'll stay here and stuff ourselves with goodies, and argue with our husbands over nothing or card games.. Either way, it should be fun..

I hope you have a wonderful holiday and good news as far as your Mom goes..

I just finished dinner and watched the Shuttle go up. It was a wonderful sight to see.. A big bright orange star, that finally turned to white after the rocket booster came off.. We could see it reach it's highest trajectory and after quite some time, slowly go down into the horizon.. We were so lucky it was a nice clear night..

Thanks to Spain and her weather it finally got a "Go." Thank you AC.. your country picked a good time to clear the weather up in case they had to make an emergency landing there.. ...;)

Geee...you tried soooo hard..lol.. I'll give you an A for effort, and it's good to see you back.. You'll make the "Catlic" girl happy for sure.

Just got my stuffing made for the Turkey breast I talked myself into cooking today, with all the fixings. I'm not cooking one for Thursday, because my friend is, but only for sandwiches for boating if we go..or not. I needed my own fix before that..

I still have some carrot cake in the fridge, but have bananas waiting for either bread or pie.. Hmmmm.. what should I do... For my health I should just throw them out.. ;)

It looked like a fish from the waist down, but on top it had a hairy chest and arms - and this scary-looking head with these enormous fangs.

It must have been introduced from the Philippines. They make good taxi cab drivers over there, especially around the old naval port of Subic Bay.
