;-) I am very easily amused. I never see these freepers anywhere, and must wonder at the folks that selected those names. Prolly not monthly contributors, but we'll find out at the next Fundraiser, which seems imminent to me.
Back after some more weed whacking. JL

The hubby left to get a carwash, and shop around for dinner..wonder what surprise he will bring...one never knows with him...
Our last few years, living in Chicago, we lived in my hubbys grandmothers house...she herself, was still alive, but due to recovering from her broken hip, she had to move in with her daughter and son in law, so that she could have constant care....
She did not wan to sell her home, and she wanted me and the hubby to move in with our two boys...since her home was in the general neighborhood of where we were already living and hapoy with, we decided to take her offer and move in...
Now, at the time, my husbands days off from work, were Sundays and Mondays...Sundays he reserved for time with me and the boys, and then on Monday, he would go over and visit with his grandmother and spend a few hours with her....
Of course, she never thought I was feeding the hubby enough, so when he would return, he always had a shopping bag filled with things his grandmother had made up...jars of homemade Sicilian soups, packages of 'brougaloni(sp?}, which was a wonderful bread rolled up, with sausages, tomatoes and peppers inside, homemade sweets, and what not...
One time the hubby returned with a whole big, rectangular pizza...Now when I first looked at it, it looked a little funny to me, somewhat 'fuzzy', is the only term I can think of to describe this pizza...
At dinner time, I heated it up,and took a bite...Yuck...it tasted horrible...but my husband ate it, and said, 'how delicious'...I asked him, what in the heck is on this pizza...he answered, its full of sardines...
I about puked...sardines to me as nasty, but on pizza, well that was just horrible...but being that his grandmother was Sicilian, and from Sicily, and sardines and all manner of fish were considered natural staples, the hubby grew up on sardines, used in a variety of ways...
Even to this day, on the weekends, the hubby always has an appetizer of a can of sardines, and saltine crackers before he has dinner...
So, at least he knows, not to return today, with a Sardine Pizza...

;-) When we call in for pie - I have to get the sardines "on the side." They give me these miniscule tins of the fuzzy fellows - love'em.

Well, the hubby has returned, with a marvelous meal...two huge full sized fully cooked crabs...crabest this evening....accompanied by yummy already made pasta salads, seafood salad, baked beans, and french bread...such a good hubby...I just told him pick up something snappy, after he finished up at the carwash....hes a good little shopper...
My dad also loved sardines...my hubby is crazy over them...he has his own little stash of sardine cans, and when that pile gets to be only about 4 cans, he gets nervous, and more must be bought at the store...

we have company so i just got back on. i was on that thread last night. jeff head is also a friend of mine and bill's and tpaine is one of my favorite freepers. i have him on my ping list.
jeff was the person who worked so diligently on behalf of the klamath farmers and gave daily reports of the goings-on there.
bill and i met jeff when we were demonstrating at the governor's mansion for bush with him and then we attended a couple of HOT chapter meetings where we got acquainted. he is a terrific guy, much like rick stanley in his patriotism and love of the constitution, america, and truth.
