Yes, it looks to me like diesel in the def tank. Looks like the green diesel hole is just to the left. It also looks like she’s not getting much in.

Back when we had “Regular” leaded gas, the gas was pumped right behind the diesel in the transfer lines to clean them out. A ball about 2 feet in diameter filled with anti-freeze separated the flow. next came the mid-range, then the high test. So, all of the regular gas had a good amount of diesel.

The best way for a man to be is to cut your own swath, ignore the noise of your time that ditzy dames and teens might listen to, and do what you should, and do what should be done.

I've been hit with the "mansplaining" accusation a couple time. For me, the best solution is to shut-up and let the accuser make mistakes and learn from them. The consequences are richly deserved.
While in the Navy, I spent a summer with the Tidewater Shore Patrol, we’d pick up service members who had had a run in with law enforcement to a lesser degree and we’d deliver them to their command.
One night about 2 o’clock we were making our way to our headquarters, located in downtown Norfolk. We spot a car on the side of the freeway and it looks like the occupants were changing the tire .
We pulled over to see if we could be of assistance.
We found two women who proudly told us , “We don’t need any help”, as they had replaced a flat with a full size spare.
I asked them where the flat tire was, I didn’t see it. They had rolled it down the embankment. We fetched it for them though.
We asked the ladies where they were headed. Why downtown to the jail to bail out their boyfriend !
Saw some crazy stuff that summer.
Can’t right now...were at Trader Joe’s.....where it’s Halloween every day! 😂
I don’t think a DEF tank full of diesel will get her too far.
The diesel nozzle is slightly bigger than the port hole for gasoline-powered vehicles, so I’m not sure how she got that thing in there.
If you put diesel in a gas car, it runs until you use all the gas in the lines, then it will stop running. Need to drain the tank and all lines to get it running again. Idiot brother found this out when he stole my 5 gal can of diesel to put in his Chevelle he was working on. Gasoline in a diesel will cause massive preignition and possible serious engine damage. Gas will combust from compression while pistons are still coming up, attempting to force them back down

Its not that, as I have learned on this thread there is a diesel exhaust fluid port as well as the deisel fuel port.
Decency did NOT “depart”; it was run off in a hail of invective.
As long ago as 1970 the joke went around:
“I sincerely hope you’re not holding that door because I’m a woman.”
“No, Ma’am; I’m holding this door because I’m a gentleman.”
Fifty plus years on and it’s no shock where we are now.
I know a guy that put gasoline in a diesel Superduty and drove it until the idiot lights on the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Repair bill was going to be north of $20K so he traded it in on a new diesel Superduty.

When you talked about the tire rolling down the embankment, it reminded me of a New Year’s Eve trip a few years ago up in Vermont. We rented a chalet at the base of Mount Snow, but… There was no snow as often happens up here in New England during ski season. So, there was no snow on the mountain, hence no skiers.
About 10 of us decided to go for a walk up the ski slopes which were abandoned, and we came across an old tire. We thought it would be fun to roll it down the slope where it would just go harmlessly into the woods, but as it started rolling and picking up speed it hit a bump, went up in the air, and change the direction to go directly down the slope towards the base!
We watched in horror as it went faster and faster, picking up speed, and the last thing we saw was that tire being launched into orbit and then disappearing downhill!
It was a foolish thing to do, but we didn’t think it would do that. Well, I guess that’s the mark of group stupidity… Nobody ever thinks it’s going to “Do that” when does just “that”!
