OK - I got one yanked a while back - still not perfectly clear on what things will get something you post pulled, but I think the last one had something to do with a title not matching source title?

So, here’s an example. By all appearances, not only is this guy this unaware of the world around him, but it would appear the person taking the images he is rebroadcasting is as clueless as he is. How did we get here?

AI the Artificial Idiot ?
The requirement to post the actual title, is to save on band usage, of multiple posts from the same source. Because band usage costs money.
Ping!........................
Can be stupider than this guy.
Yeah but, if you get a public school education, you can define what every letter in LGBTQ.... stands for, and while you might not be able to balance your check book (what’s a checkbook anyway? derp) you can calculate how many pedestrians you need to run over in GTA before you can level up your upgrades.
Crap - meant to say CAN’T be stupider than this guy.
I accept the first part... πππππππ ππ€£
Unrelated, but I recently saw a “Man-in-the-street” interview where the guy had a map of the world with no colors or place names. Just outlines of countries. He found a woman and pointed to a very small country just East of the Indian subcontinent. This little country had been colored red for the interview. Nothing was labeled (it was Bangladesh). The woman thought about it and guessed that the country was “Africa”.
I have also seen college students in Florida interviewed and asked to name the ocean which is visible off the coast of Florida. One student was baffled — “It doesn’t have a name. It’s just The Ocean.”
It’s worse than that. I work in a pretty rarified world. Lots of really smart people. But even though I can point to a host of really smart people whom I *know* are smart - the idiot sitting in the office next to them with the same responsibilities wouldn’t have a job flipping burgers if I was the one making the call.
There’s more of the second kind.
Do you believe everything you read or hear on the internet?
Why do you believe everything you read or hear from AI? They are the same.
Now imagine, if you will, half of those working to build AI engines are from the “below average” group...
I should add, this one guy in particular is, unbeknownst to me having happened on this video randomly earlier today, a really popular YouTuber lots of patreons and over 400K followers - I checked out a few of his videos. A true failure of the educational system who is WILDLY popular with his peers.
THAT’S what scares me.
Not my point. What is your issue?
The point was if *people* are this stupid then we are doomed and AI *is* our only hope. Not that I had any love or hope for AI, but that this proves people are doomed. It’s called - umm - a hyperbolic joke...
I have a deep suspicion of those βMan-in-the-streetβ interviews. Maybe they ask 100 people an easy question. 98 get right. And 2 donβt.
The two that get it wrong are the only ones in the video.
Oh, I think that is certainly true.
